Also stave33, it's been years since Jimerax updated the R1 difficulties thread so that's out of the question for the VC files. We will most likely choose similar songs as stated on this thread.

Didn't I consistantly remake the difficulties list and keep it up to date? I swear there is one updated up to Djdj pvc in the thread...if not, I could easily update it, and I know every FC that's clearly 73 and up

just noticed, iironic's idea is THE EXACT SAME AS MINE with less detail.

It's similar, but no, not really. Yours is specific and don't really leave room for adjusting (for instance you seem to be only basing the tiers off of what difficulty levels you can AAA, so you pretty much have to accept that or not), plus you are asking for a gigantic number of songs to be added. I feel like iironiic's idea is a lot more flexible, and doesn't really rely on having a huge number of songs. In fact his idea could work perfectly well with the same number of total TP songs that we're used to.

Nope, actually I think fewer people will bother (unless they REALLY want the FC), because it's only 1 point instead of an automatic 4. To be honest, though, I don't think CP should be counted in the TP scale at all.

Maybe less people overall, but for someone like me, If I were to FC it I'd obviously have good enough PA for at least 5 points.

Sure, but if you have good PA it would still be 2 points instead of 5. A smaller reward will still make people less willing to cheat.

Lol, I have good enough PA to get 2 points but I can't get far enough into the trill to combo high enough then I miss a **** load cause of the miss glitch so I only have 1 point.

What? I mean that my system would make your current 5-point req only worth 2 points or so, so you'd have less of a reason to use DS.

Oh I wasn't talking about your system I have no idea what that is. I was talking about the current system compared to the old one. I had a 4/9 or 5/9 or something in the old system, now I have 1/9. I can easily PA with 30 goods or less, but I can't FC to get 5/9 in this new system.
