Yeah, they finally fixed that 10/10+ requirement problem but there is still a few more issues with the system itself so bare with us.

The line for 'graduating' from a tier would need to be drawn after the list is made of course, but I'd say above 80% in any given tier would be a good qualifier.

In that system, no-one under the top tier would have any more than 80% of the TPs for any given tier. A better line of graduation would be once you reach a certain percentage of the reqs for the tier above. e.g. A player that has 90% of Tier 2 points, but only 15% of tier 1 points would remain in tier 2. Where a player with 90% of tier 2 points, but 45% of tier one points, would be bumped to the higher tier level.

Jae's post makes quite a bit of sense, actually. There's always that chance that some scores worthy of the next tier up are fluke runs, so what the system would do is collect points not from the tier you're on, but from the tier after that. When you get enough, the system bumps you to that level.

It's actually quite similar to earning IM/GM status in chess tournaments, now that I think about it: In both cases, you move up by turning in sufficient performances or "norms" in competition against others that already hold the title.

This is good news, we finally got the first step accomplished thanks to michael (qqwref) and Dom (Sprite-)

Now to work on one more step before I actually make the new thread!
