Fastest way to farm mats for Aughild's / Crimson and Born's sets?

One more piece of Vyrs and a good leg amulet and I'm basically complete for archon build, since I recently picked up some near max roll items for this build (weap, offhand, SoJ)

So I want to start collecting some of these now so they're ready to go.

I'm thinking optimally though it's better to just Aughild and Crimson without the born set, losing some CDR but hitting a lot harder.

For Aughild's go for Fecklar's Ghost (Festering Woods), Matriarch Bones (Crypts) bounty in Act 1. There's another bounty in festering woods but I forgot the name.. just make sure it's a ghost unique and it'll drop.

Born's set Digger o' Dell, Dataminer bounty in Act 1 .. also look out for miner unique that occasionally spawns east from the waypoint (usually it's an elite though). Much less common than Aughild's so i recommend getting another friend or 2 to remake games separately until the bounty shows up, and then join the game (or friend(s) joins yours if you get the bounty). You can find the uniques without the bounty but it's a real pain without the quest pointer...

How long have you been farming Act III Ghom Torment 5...lmao

My fire wiz is getting close to complete. Desperately waiting on a fire SoJ and a better fire amulet and a witching hour. Otherwise, I have most of the pieces I want. Kadala refuses to drop a witching hour though despite how many shards I've dropped on belts >_>

Could go for a burning axe with a nice roll though. I've gotten three of them at this point and all of them have been god awful rolls.

Also looking for soj too, thousand blood shards today plus a fair amount of ring drops, still nada . Dropped Vyr's boots today on my last rift run today tho, only good news this past week lol

i'm not sure whether or not 6% CC or 50% CHD is better on a SoJ.. i've even thought about taking STR away to roll for CHD

guys i have a question

so 1 str = 1 point of armor, yeah?

so why do stat rolls range from like 400-600 and +armor only ranges from like 300-500? Wouldn't we be better served by just rolling strength over armor? Which we can't do unless we're barbs or crusaders, of course.

It seems like I'd rather have mainstat + str than mainstat + armor, which of course doesn't really drop because of loot2.0. Am I missing something here? Why does +armor roll such low numbers?

in HC if you want HIGHER armor on an armor roll, rolling the armor roll on a STR class to mainstat STR should be a smarter choice

so like, if you want armor on your belt instead of life regen, just move over belt to a 70 str class then roll it for STR

idk whether i wanna roll 42 CHD to 50 CHD, or roll INT to STR so i can use it for every class

ya p much
i do the occasional pool of reflection farming and a1 normal bounties for keys, and do t4-t6 rift it forward runs
but kadala likes fucking with my brain so


also i read somewhere that barb ancients are pets, and the theo applies to sentries, companions, and even procs like haunt of vaxo + golden gorget

man i'm so conflicted.. i would love to have a 7/50/10 tasker for a WD if i make one, but i also want to share the gloves with every other class

I tried T5 ghom a few times and for me RIF gets me xp a little faster (5~6 times xp when I get into T5~6 rift bosses)
It also drops blood shards and more items than ghom
T5 ghom < RIF ~= T6 ghom imo

yeah, RIF is definitely the best solution if you have an abundance of keys (or even when you don't, since you can pick & choose to join ones like, highest/lowest para reopens)
not to mention you can use blood shards to roll for a specific legendary (ex. jekangbord / shield, pox faulds / pants, soj / rings)

however RIF & manual rifting requires me to actively hunt down for good spots and a lot of people sometimes get in before i do, and ghom is kinda brainless so i just do ghom most of the time anyways

i do wish ghom dropped gems though sigh
