Does Ashaera set bonus count? I still need the scoundrel token that unlocks all abilities, then I'll have all three.


Got bored of playing wizard for now and jumped on the WD op train. 2/3 for Zuni and 2/5 on Jade Harvester (one day...). Turns out Thunderfury isn't too bad for casters, makes firebats ridiculous damage range a tiny bit more reliable. (600k-10m+/tick)

edit) funny as f how after SoH gets nerfed 50% of the people are rejoicing and the 50% are not happy (me), and then when WDs doing 1.5b per hit on bosses is being spread around, all the WD peeps are crying blasphemy

Well to be fair, SoH could drop from a single kill @70 on normal difficulty. Where as Jade Harvester takes 6 pieces of torment only set drops. You can skip a piece with the act 1 Ring but there are people who still haven't gotten one after hundreds of caches. The number of people with enough set pieces to actually do that 1.5b damage is less then a handful.


The rest of the T1 sets need to be buffed. Over 300 paragon levels I haven't found a third piece to any set other than Blackthorns. (2 of Firebird/Zunimassa/Jade Harvester) Finishing a set should be rewarding. If you dump hundreds of hours into the game, why shouldn't you wreck everything? Thats part of most ARPGs, find an interesting way to become as powerful as you can and have fun. Hellgate I had my 600 shot per minute weapon with almost a dozen different on-hit procs that would lag low end systems, Titan Quest I built my druid (storm/nature) with super OP ice shard shotgun building maximum cast speed. Diablo you're stuck to one or two builds per class with super hard to find and specific items with no flexibility.

We need more legendaries that make odd-builds viable. We're still stuck with stacking Main stat/CC/CHD/AS with every class. No slots open to actually tailor gear to builds except the odd slot you can choose an elemental type, or one specific ability.

most players who had soh also couldn't do T6 without 3-4+ pieces of other sets like IK, or Raekor's

i swear everybody who cried NERF for soh never even had one >:/
(it still works really well with frenzy though)



finally got my trifecta royal ring after 1500 bounties

6/38/6 with 420 strength (how fitting), not the best - but i'll take it.. DONE WITH ACT 1

You didn't need raekors or Ik for t6 with SoH. You could do T6 with those sets and the right supporting legendaries. SoH couldn't jump from normal/t1-t6, but I saw a few t3 barbs farming t6.

It doesn't seem they know how to handle procs on channelled abilities. Similar problem to SoH with Wizard's Familiar, but now you also have the off-hand swing resetting ICD. So instead of fixing that, they bandaid it by applying on-hit coefficient to a on-cast proc meaning it will never scale with the number of mobs being attacked.

I can't remember the name of the weapon, but it had a proc that summoned some sort of DoT storm/blizzard/whirlwind thing, and the ICD reset bug makes it stop doing damage. Fulminator does 100% over 6 seconds instead of per second for 6. Rerolling LoK on Soulsmasher causes it to not proc. You can roll the jump off Halcyon's amulet. Skywarden's Law turns off randomly. Vyr's doesn't give you all the runes for Archon. Raekor's 2/4 set are lazy. Many legendary weapons/armor have too many pre-determined stats to ever roll anything people would want to use. Tons of T1 sets are garbage that will only ever end up as forgotten souls. Gems are a joke, two-handeds are a joke, why can't I stop playing this game...


I hope 2.1 has a bunch of fixes in addition to new content.

I could top 1 million dps with some gear, but I feel like the 37% cold damage I get from what I'm using is better than gaining 150k dps using crit gear. I have 870k with 37% cold damage

atm %elem damage is definitely the way to go

sheet dps also doesn't mean anything
most of my damage comes from Frenzy + SoH + TF procs anyways

It's Diablo 3 vanilla collector bonus, just like the yellow wings are RoS collector bonus and the skeleton ones are from Sc2:HotS Deluxe edition.
