getting right gears with proper main stats is hard enough

Only have LoH from paragon levels. everything else is zero

Not really. at this point life steal would make me heal to 100% every time I shoot something
I sustain well enough with health globes, pots, and smoke screen (and templar heals when I solo)
on T5~6 I need to not get hit by anything anyway because everything twoshots me

yeah it looked like your HP bar fluctuated a ton

btw how do you deal w/ vortex/jailer without vault

both can be nullified with smoke screen
also it lets me move while frozen. vault does not

I only die like every fifth rift or so when I solo, even with that kind of HP fluctuation. Much less when I group
(though it seems to be caused by the bugged damage of molten/plague/etc, so I should practically never die when it gets patched back to normal)

i get nervous every time i go below 50% hp so i tend to put on more toughness sets like 3 piece aughild, 3 piece IK whenever i go rifting

ps) 3 piece aughild (chest, bracer) + 3 piece captain crimson (belt, pants) is so nice if you have hat+shoulder+glove 4 set effect

50 ar, 10% CDR, 10% resource cost reduction, 15% elite dmg reduction, 7% all damage reduction, 15% additional elite damage..

i actually ditched my cindercoat in favor of aughild chest+bracers because elites are what really bottleneck rifts anyways

I have 3 piece aughild, 3 piece blackthorne, and 3 piece nats (79 discipline means lots of smoke screens)
My toughness is really high for a DH (most of them go for yan's + witching hour and literally get one shot by everything), but also keep in mind DHs don't benefit from 30% dmg reduction like barbs/monks

i just wish you could stack ice climbers + 4 piece bk set effects without having to forego an offensive set effect

I dislike dying so I usually just roll T3 rifts but even with the fact I'm still running a shit amulet and have not found a 70 SoJ despite getting nearly a million leg rings, ran some T4 this evening without any deaths.

Hydra + MM + Blackhole is just really good against elites. If I can get just a few more items I think I should be able to solo T5 rifts without dying. Right now as is a good black hole that groups the elites up subjects them to 10+ million hydra hits and ~15-20 million per MM if all 3 of them hit.

T6...well, might have to switch classes for that.


PS; 4 traveler's pledges in a single rift.

Anniversary buff trolling me hard.

Anniversary buff seems cool, until you hit the same average time per upgrade drop and then its exactly the same. Thats the problem with an entirely gear driven game with no interesting gear choices.

Really getting into WD lately, geared up a WD from scratch in a few days that can solo T4 really efficiently now without dying: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/S.../hero/41513455

I just really need Tasker and Theo to make that jump to T5 cleanly, but man, I must have sank well over 5000+ shards into gloves at this point and haven't managed to get it. o_o

Need a physical SoJ as well and an elefecta amulet before I go for T6, but my luck in that department has been...non existent since release so I won't get my hopes up.

I've been playing my DH plain wrong..

Tried 6 piece Marauder's set (and the pieces were mediocre at best)
Now I can solo T6 rift within 10 minutes o_O

6 piece effect lets sentries deal hatred spender skills, so I equip bombadier's rucksack (lets me place two extra sentries) and custom engineering passive (one extra, 5 total)
and stack cooldown reductions. I simply run around in circles place five sentries and hide behind the corner watching everything melt

So it's like playing five totems in PoE, with a hoard of minions protecting you
