Armor has scaling returns from Paragon points whereas All Res is a flat bonus (which also contributes to increased diminishing returns).
Once you start reaching significant DR on All Res and you get paragon points into both All Res and %Armor, Armor on gear usually is better because of the scaling.
I think I'd be better off with more All Res on my gear now because I have no points into %armor but that's where they're going now that I've maxed All Res so I might as well plan ahead. Once I get 50/50 into %Armor, having armor on all my gearslots that have that choice is over 5% toughness better than All Res.
Also literally all my crafted pieces naturally rolled armor and I'm out of souls to craft more if I wanted to so I didn't have much choice anyway rofl
I think it's inevitable to have that disappointment when you get a good low level legendary while leveling.

Thanks to the new difficulty system, you can actually have fun while leveling, as opposed to when the game launched and you literally had to beat the game twice before it got difficult enough to not be a complete waste of time.
I have a chest tab full of low-level legendaries to use while I'm leveling new hardcore characters.

Got a half-decent Born's chest finally. 0.2% dps loss because my old chest was almost perfect int and this isn't, but it's a 100k life gain (800k toughness) and my life was really low before. Mitigation is of course better than soaking damage, but you do need SOME life pool to back it up haha.
85 act 1 bounty bags and no Ring of Royal Grandeur. Literally the last farmable thing I need to just grind out.
After that my only easy upgrade is a better second ring, ideally a trifecta or CC/CD/CDR legendary until I get a SoJ.
This is the obvious choice and once I start doing rifts again (curse you Ring of Royal Grandeur) I'll train myself to play without Unstable Anomaly. I usually switch it out for Illusionist when split farming anyway.
Astral Presence because right now I run out of AP between Archon cooldowns. Once I get my Ring I'll evaluate whether I need it. Ideally I will have a low enough Archon cooldown and enough AP regen to not need a signature spell, so then I can switch out my Magic Missile for Black Hole or Familiar or Hydra or something else useful.
Since everything I do right now is Arcane, I like the control Temporal Flux brings for solo play. It's such a big slow that it's basically a stun for any enemy that needs to melee you. Gonna be hard to give this up but maybe I'll notice it less in a group.
I've played around with Dominance in the past and I've come to the conclusion that, if I'm in a fast group it's super worth using, but if I'm playing with my clan friends we usually go slightly slower than the stack timer so it's kinda a waste. Right now I'm just liking Deflection Magic Weapon because it's really reliable, I feel like Dominance and Galvanizing Ward are too situational. I'll play around with it more because I totally agree that the Conflagration passive is really good.
My other option is to run Elemental Exposure, switch my weapon for a Thunderfury, Ignite Magic Weapon (w/Conflag of course), and use something for Frost damage and just buff the group instead. I'm a giant fan of Elemental Exposure but right now my skillset is too arcane-focused to support it, maybe if I find I don't need Astral Presence I'll try this too.

Picked up a sick magefist from Kadala today, combined with the fact I'm already rolling a mirrorball...need to try and gamble a cindercoat and pick up a few more pieces and might try a fire build.
CDR archon is too addicting though. Hell I only have like 35% CDR and it's already so much fun. Can't imagine being at Hi's gear level ;o
Haven't gotten a god damn set piece in about 2 weeks though despite the fact I'm rolling in legendaries lately.

Just picked up my Zuni offhand And a SoJ from todays rifts.
I would love to use the SoJ on WD but I'm locked into Grandeur/Pox for rings, hopefully its good for Wiz if I roll the physical into cold or something, But it has no CC/CHD/AS, just int/regen/phys/elite.
Permanent fetish army is A LOT cooler than I thought it would be.

60/10 here and blizz still manage to fuck up.
at first i thought it was my video card, but then it would lagg in other games. I think its the worst idea they could ever have to force us to play online, whoever had that idea will burn in hell much longer than me.
So...how did it go for you ?? Also, what do you mean by highspeed, personally i consider anything under google fiber a non-highspeed connection. Your thoughts ?Comment
