If you don't find it fun, don't play it. I only fight in places that are fun for me. When I stop having fun there, I go somewhere else. If there is nowhere else, I stop playing. Why play a game if you don't find it fun? o_O?

Speaking of fun, I've been having a lot of fun with HunterStory. I just hit 4th joba lil while ago and lemme tell ya, if advanced mastery is as sweet in the real MS as it is in HunterStory, bows/xbows will own ass.

EDIT: Speaking of 4th job for bowmen...

Jason, can you please show me the math that you are always claiming about how level 1 sharp eyes doubles damage? I don't see how you came to that conclusion. I'd like to see the math used...

I'm level 194 in Hunter Story. I've S'd all but 2 (AAAs) before Zakum. S'd Zakum and some radioactive ones.

Oh and umm double CRITICAL damage, not total... xD... Level 1 = 11%. Know how regular critical description says 200% but it's actually a +100% increase? Well, this one says 11% at level 1 and it's actually +111%. For classes with critical already, this adds onto the critical they currently have (along with the % chance). It's not separate and it's not +11% critical.

Thus with level 1 Sharp Eyes, a hermit's critical changes from 50% chance for 100% extra damage to 51% chance for 211% extra damage.

Oh by the way, since I figure we'll be getting Leafre before too long, does anyone know how I can find out what monsters ER works with and which ones don't? I mean, I could just walk through Leafre when it comes out and test it, but to know in advance would be super cool.

@Chris: From what I hear, basically none. Lots of them (think about it, if you're familiar at all with Riprey monsters) use physical attacks. Swords, spears, and such. ER sucks in Riprey. =(

Oh and uh, I seem to have stumbled across a bug in HunterStory. I dunno how, but all my arrows act like Iron Arrow, but repeatedly give damage as they go through things. So I'm using Hurricane and doing 800% damage (plus crits) per frame to bosses and like instantly killing them. Needless to say, I went from 85 to 120 REALLY FAST. 5th job is hawt.

Does anyone know of a private server with 10x EXP or something like that? I always wanted to see how much damage I could do at lvl 200.

We've only done it over what, 10 pages?

There are none and there won't be any for a while.

Any that does pop up would be a re-creation of the game engine rather than a copy of it.

I think jMS has a test server that's probably the easiest to get into at present. Hopefully gMS does the same sort of thing before too much longer.

EDIT: I'm 3rd job on HunterStory. What should I be shooting for in terms of skills?

Get level 2 strafe.... All that's needed. Lets you basically shoot constant strafes once you get the next skill which is MP Recovery. Max that. Then max fury arrows. Then power knockback (basically to unlock dragon pulse for 4th). Then power arrow.

I got level 1 power knock back thinking it'd help me pass levels, but it seems to do literally nothing.

PKB blows. DP is nice since one of the previous updates, but mainly helps with knocking bosses back. You just need max PKB to add points to DP in 4th.
