No, that's pretty normal.

If enemies know they're gonna die, they won't move anymore while the skill that will kill them is casting. It's just that the game calculates the damage WAY before it shows up for you to see it.

Funny thing is, they pause even when it's not gonna kill them. THAT is pretty messed up. It makes Blizzard's ability to freeze almost completely a moot point.

Yeah, the entire thing's already calculated the second you hit the attack button.

Only thing I know of that this doesn't apply to is Explosion. And what a great exception that is. =)

You and Chris2 both, I've outkilled you on single monsters while you were SRing. I even said something about it at the time. And even if it was on single monsters, the point is that I outkilled you with a level 3 skill. XD

PS: It's a level 6 skill now. Finally leveled despite internet going down and then MS going down in a server check. ****ing ******s just don't want me to level. >=O

Imagine if I had max HA and said I outkilled you using Explosion.

Ok it probably wouldn't happen anyway because HA is garbage, but I'm sure you get what I'm saying.

Heh, I'm just lurking recently. Haven't played Maple much... I think I'm gonna get back into WoW again now that summer has begun.

Although I did start playing hunterstory. Then kept going. And now I'm 96. Wooo.

I got tired of HunterStory when it began to become a grind. 5x.

I would do Forest of Dead You because I couldn't win against anything. Couldn't do current missions with the skeleton warrior things, couldn't do any bosses (yeti dad and beyond), so I was stuck with no levels, no money, and no points.

So I changed the EXP, Meso, and points to about 10000x and got to 6th job pretty quickly. I 1hko Zakum. Rofl.

Oh yeah, forgot to post it... level 110, no screenshot, no nothing, i was in a pretty bad mood at the time. It's better now though... Yay for leveling teleport. =D

Afro: You'd outkill me on one monster just because Explo is so slow, but that's it. And if I Misted before I started to explode you might not even get that. =P

Eric: You and all the other IL mages need to grind your asses to my level so we can party at those poison/lightning weak things in Riprey. =(

Chromer: Only good reason to play is that now things are quite a bit easier for a fire mage. 6X is still kinda hellish for any class (except maybe sins? bastards), but once you get over that the game is like 1000x the awesome. Unless you're a cleric, then it's still the same crap forever. =(

PS: You know how they said they'd do frequent GM Blogs, like once a month or something? There's been ONE in 2007. I wish they wouldn't make promises they aren't gonna keep. =\

Probably a fire(/poison) mage, ice(/lightning) mage, or cleric.

1, 15, 30, 70, 120, 150 are the job levels... I think.
