You guys are being naive. Hackers WANT TO HACK IN A LEGIT SERVER. If there was a hacker server, people who are like Noah and are simply curious about game elements will play on that server, while EVERY SINGLE OTHER HACKER PLAYS IN THE NORMAL ONES.
EDIT: PS I was hitting for 6100+ max earlier on Grims.
MED IS SUPER COOL.
Which reminds me, Noah, where the hell did you go? By the time my crap computer finally finished loading up and starting MS, you were gone.
If luk added to damage, lukless would deal less damage.
More worthy of testing in my opinion are magic damage formula, heal formulae (HP healed and damage dealt), magical accuracy.
Can't you just try getting your int to like 200 and try it on a pure int? I mean, even on your main character, try fighting the weakest holy-weak monster you can find the next time you hit a milestone thing like 600 or 550 or whatever. I don't know how much you have right now. You could do this faster by removing some of your int-adding equipment as well.

Having a hacker server would pretty much make everyone happy. Hackers get to hack, legits have their maps.
A lot of people also hack to become a higher level than legitimate players and have "the edge" over other people. In fact, that's why a lot of them do it. There would still be tons of hackers on the main servers.
Nexon putting up a hacking server would show a sign of weakness to all players, even if there really is no weakness. People would take it as if Nexon were giving up, and that'd cause many people to quit. The only professional-looking thing they could do would be to add test servers with higher EXP rates(like 100x, for example). Remember when they were going to do this before with the beta client and EXP rates that scaled as people levelled up?

Yeah, but it'd work better on something like that. We already have some solutions that have come up through methods like that, and they simply aren't entirely right.
For example, the most popular heal formula says that level is connected to damage more than magic attack. However, my HP cleric with super low magic attack has ABSOLUTE **** damage.
And yes, you guys need to level in JMS (those who still play). We need people to Ludi PQ :<
O_o
Yeah you guys, hurry up before I hit 51. =\
Might be pretty quick with how hawt masks/foxes are. Cam you need to come with your IL and rape these bitches with me.
Which reminds me, Noah, where the hell did you go? By the time my crap computer finally finished loading up and starting MS, you were gone.
I died cuz of retarded lag, got angry, and went to JMS.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
I don't see you on AIM anymore Noah and then when I go on JMS, I usually get bored and log off really fast.
I'm going to get on now for a little bit. Yeah.. anybody who wants to play, just add me.
HotAsIce-Sakura.

pyro31191: TELL EVERYONE YOU WANT TO TAKE IT IN THE ASS NOW
pyro31191: rofl
pyro31191: You should tell them earlier though
pyro31191: so they can buy dildos instead of fleshlights

lol luk for mages does add dmg >.< 3 luk is about 1 int for dmg wise >.> but lukless are better because now with the black umbrella and soon if not out 1h m attack scroll comes out the lukless will have around a 100 m att wep witch will be closer to the like 110ish codar >.< so lukless are more worth it espically priests cuz then it dosent matter for wep def they just heal constantly and do crazy dmg >.>

See this is what happens when terrible players play terribly and beat even worse players and then start to think that they have valid builds/strategies/~*~theorycrafting~*~ etc.

No. You shouldn't say things like that when you seriously don't know what you're talking about. It's crap like that that has convinced the majority of the community that heal is somehow related to HP.
Luk adds 0 magic attack no matter how you look at it. Magic attack is what decides magic damage.
Level might have an invisible factor on how hard you hit, even if it's a (really) small amount.
Afro, did you claw at whatever int your HP cleric was at hit for even a bit more than that of what it was dozens of levels ago at like 20 int?
From the time I maxed claw to level 30 when I started adding to int, claw's damage only increased when I equipped better gear. As it is, she is level 34 and can only 1hk hornies a very small percentage of the time... she still misses quite a bit, and she hits for less than 150 almost always.
Heal might be affected by level, but I'm quite sure that other magic attacks are not, and furthermore, I am also pretty sure that if level does affect heal's damage output, it is not to the degree that the formula indicates.
Heal probably isn't THAT affected by level. It's probably just more exponentially affected by magic attack than they calculated. They just took the damages they did across levels and found a best fit line for that according to level and matk. If they really wanted an accurate formula, they'd (hopefully on a test server) test damage with 2 characters. First they get a character to a certain level without adding points to int, then add points to int (while staying at that certain level) and recording the damage done with different amounts of int. For the 2nd character, they'd get its int to a certain point and then record the damage as it levels up (without adding more int each level).
On a test server it'd be easy, especially with an instant level-up NPC like the KMS test server has. I hope we get a test server, but I kinda doubt it'll happen. =\
