Cash items are all dependent on dedication.
If you're going to log on once a week, a 2x card is pointless and a waste of money.
I got NX before Winter Break because I knew I'd be playing then.
I haven't leveled my lvl84 i/l in Windia since over the summer =.=;

I pay because it adds to my gaming experience (to me). I don't even spend a lot.

Due to an ongoing DDoS attack on sleepywood.net by Stereo(Oooh on Bera) I will have to close the forum indefinitely.

I really hope I don't have to go over to Mapletip or something now instead. Sleepywood might have been kind of crappy, but compared to the other MapleStory sites, everyone is a genius there.

Also, would this be free reign to annhialate Stereo? It really seems like that's the intended purpose of identifying the attacker...

So about this whole cash shopping issue: I only spend money on

1. a Shop
2. A pet
3. Everything a pet needs to pick up crap.

And nothing more :O...I was thinking of getting married too..but...20 bucks...come on...just for some party quest in the game

There are only a few cash items worth getting, really. 2x cards, pets and their looting equips, and safety charms. Other than that, I don't think I would buy anything even if I had tons and tons of money to waste.

But really, that's just my personality. I'm also the kind of person that doesn't like buying candy because "I'm just gonna eat it and it'll be gone", or I don't like buying many clothes, cuz really as long as you have enough to cover ~14 days in a row you're fine. Lots of people, though, easily give into impulse purchases and frivolous purchases. That's why MS makes so much money, cuz people are loose with their money.

I agree, I too just take the speakers out of my computer and plug them into my iPod so that I don't have to have iTunes running. I'm glad you brought it up YingYang. I didn't know other people did that too. I mainly listen to the Red Hot Chili Peppers or Iron Maiden when playing Maple though. Not sure about you guys.

Shop is essential to making money in maplestory without wasting 23094832 hours in FM and getting trades from cheap merchants >.>...

I dont understand why people want to gatch so much if you can make far more with a shop

Got Triple Throw last night. Hopefully by the end of the week, I'll have the level 20 one too.

Found Venom last night with Kelsey. <3 We've been hunting for it both at Papulatus and Cornians with 2x drop since the day after patch has been released. Finally got it, and it worked. 10 Triple Throw + 20 Venom = amazing.





Note my Shadow Claw on the far right in my buffs. It lasts 62 seconds. It was my first cast. So yes, we found it within ~30 seconds. <3333333 But other nights we hunted for hours.

Started playin again. Leveled twice in the last two days. Finally gonna make level sixty soon and be able to wear all my new stuff. It's only taken two years =\
