Uh, not realy. My friend read it and he's in english. He says thats basicaly the entire english course right there. English isn't my hot topic being a third language.

Talking a language and writing it down on paper is completely different. When you talk, you talk. You don't say "el oh el", nor do you say other things. When you are typing there is no need to type in shorthand, or to mess up words. You are writing something which millions of people can read, and re-read again and again, thus it should be more thoughtfully put together. So don't compare speaking with typing / writing.

How fitting.

Two of those "words" you had for me weren't actually words, so I disregarded them anyway. In fact, I pretty much disregarded everything you've said, as have most of the members on this site.

It really doesn't get to me like it used to.

I do, however, continue to ignore their posts once I determine that they aren't worth much of anything. I still hold that anyone who cannot take the time to write things out on the Internet doesn't really have anything important to say.

I feel the same way, though I do have times where I'm fine with using messed up English if it is for humour or just to mock someone or any other reason. Generally I feel it is malleable, though if you are looking to be taken seriously then yes, you should be using correct grammar.

I was going to say "I know Amanda is only there because she'd be beaten otherwise" but thought you'd get annoyed at me again =[.

Only thing I'll never get over is how Europeans use "ou" in words like "humour" and "colour".

I don't like it when people use bad grammar.
