Unfortunately, no. I was taught some grammar, but I think I learned more through self-teaching (when reading novels and writing essays).

Often, prepositions are practically a part of the verb (I heard a great word for this, but have forgotten it). Consider the following:

"He is really difficult to put up with."
"He is really difficult up with whom to put."

Here, I feel it would be plain incorrect to choose the latter, despite not ending with a preposition. It may technically be okay, but just don't do it.

It's because, in the first scentence, since it is a double prepostion, the second one is an adverb (I'm pretty sure).
Ah...the beauty of forgetting all you learned in 6th Grade English over the summer.

MLA style for a list after colons is 2 spaces after the colon.

This really seems like something my mom would do to me... yell at me for saying yah'll or not finishing a word... like saying finishin or sayin... and i dont really know anyone who uses whom lol thanx for writin all of that =P

I am definitely glad someone is teaching people grammar. I hate it when people have websites, then they don't even spell words right! I also hate it on AIM when my friends don't capitilize and punctuate their sentences, it makes me so angry! I mean come on, we're going to be adults soon, we should at least learn the correct way to write a sentence.
