I obviously didn't know that the correct phrase was "good grammar." Thank you very much for correcting this honest mistake. I'll be sure to try harder next time.

If this was directed at me, I'll give you an answer. If it's not directed at me, I'll still give you an answer, because I'm not going to wait for you to clarify. Let's see.. 9 months ago.. summer vacation? I was probably out doing something.

i ent readin all of this, but i just skimmed through the beginning..
      and, um.. :

"I cover it briefly, they finish the job."
Surely you'd at least know of simple comma splice errors?
Do not join two independent clauses with a comma. You cover it briefly; they finish the job.

"Third, any mod who wishes to edit the topic to amend something or add in Guido / Chardish's section is welcome to do so.'
-'Third, any mod who wishes to edit the topic, to amend something, or add ..'
Out of curiosity, do you breathe when you speak?

          First of all: "ent"? "ENT"?!

Second, your suggestion would be correct had the original author been making a list. The sentence should be understood to say "edit the topic in order to amend something or..."

          But good try.

What? Xaph was totally right about the comma splicing.

Amanda clarified the second thing, though.

Hey actually I don't care. Since you're not a mod and cannot edit it, it looks like it'll never change!

Commas are an open-ended mark. Deal with it.

Most of my commas are in the form of how they sound in my head. Consult my first sentence as an example. It's wrong on paper. It's right to me. It is intended to be read as a run-on sentence with no breaks.

                Re: Free grammar lessons!

If you want to get completely and downright technical, there is no such thing as "proper grammar". There's just a universally popular way of arranging words with meaning in a specific order organized with symbols that we call punctuation.

if want speak like such i able okay speak like such

It's true. When you say "Could care less" does mean your saying you do care. You could care less, so therefore you do care in the first place.
PS I also love this grammar guide. It shed a whole new light on me. I love it!

Yeah, because grammar dies annually and everyone irrevocably adopts perfect (or acceptable) grammar within the year of its posting.

I work at Halliburton and go out of my way to avoid walking by the sign that says "Customer Service Representative's." (had to backspace over that a few times to get it wrong)

I called out my friend's mom for not criticizing her son for his lack of proper grammar usage in oral sentences. She's an English teacher.

She said she'll do it more often.

                          I am proud.

                            Seriously, people:

The word is "dealt". Not "delt". A "delt" is a muscle.

Oh also, I'll laugh at you forever if you say "wether" instead of either of the other two choices "weather" or "whether".
