Well, I'm planning on getting a pet and I see people buy the item pouch and magnet thing. So should I buy both of those?/What do they do?

Item Pouch allows your pet to pick up items off the ground automatically. Same thing goes for Mesos Magnet, except it picks up mesos instead of items.

Nec, you may have the same fate as me. My first scroll failed, I think(or maybe it was my second), leaving me at 60 matk if it was the first. Then all of them worked and I wound up with 72 matk and 6 int.

First one worked, second one didn't, third one did.

I think what he was saying was more of a "don't be discouraged yet since you can still end up with a +6 int" type of thing.

Nope, you have to actually get clothing for your pet.

I'm thinking about getting mah panda a little hat. I have some 60% jump and speed scrolls for it.

The ones that worked were on different SS. Sold them for 21m each. So I've made about 13.5m so far. Which means I need another one to land within the next 7 to keep profit.

I've always been horrible at scrolling
the best things I've ever scrolled was maybe 8 speed on a snow shoe and 3 10% helm def on a brown bamboo which still has 2 slots left

You're comparing the price between a stat and a 10% chance of a stat. It kinda makes sense in that horribly overinflated maplestory way.

For magicians, does having DEX scrolled equips apply to your spells? I see mages wearing sauna robes from time to time, and I've wondered about it.
