Uhh I'm gone for the weekend because my grandma had another stroke and she has pretty much given up on life (doesn't eat, doesn't get up and walk around, doesn't do anything for that matter =/). This may be the last time I see her ever again so I think this beats out a silly game by far =/ I'll be back Sunday night. Oh and I would be glad to play another class on Bera, it is just a matter of whether or not you trust me o_O Not many people on here know me well except for Noah and Chris (emccky). Meh, I wouldn't have anything to gain from hacking anyone on Bera but it is up to you guys. I'm leaving now so I won't be around until Sunday night. PM me I guess O_O

I made it to the bottom of Eos Tower without any scrolls, and now I'm trying to get back up, again without any scrolls.
The bad news is I'm at Level 18 and I have run out of potions. I know there's a gumball machine on the 40th floor or something, but I seriously doubt I'm going to get there any time soon. What should I do?

Why are people stupid enough to do things like that at a low level? It's like the noobs that come to nath and can't get back. Seriously, use your head. It's not a smart move at LEVEL 18 to go all the way down eos tower without enough pots.

As I said in the screenshot, I have a lot of luck. I seriously don't need this much luck by any means. I really should have left it at ~78 or whatever and not worried about kage or oriental fury coat.

And yeah, bahamut is right... in part. Some mages don't add ANY luck and others simply cap it when they're satisfied with whatever gear they have.

Only reason mages get luk at all is for equips. Their magic attack, defense, accuracy, and MP raise upon level is all affected by int. For this reason, some mages choose to go lukless and get the yellow umbrealla at 55 (or whatever lvl), which makes them much more powerful than mages of the same level. You can ask tosh about it.

Yellow umbrella is level 40.

And pure ints don't use yellow umbrella anymore. They use maple lama since it's quite a bit stronger, can be scrolled, and can be used with booster in 3rd job.

If they can afford it, at least. If you started a pure int ice/light, you'd probably have trouble getting a good Maple Lama unless you went ice and didn't really use your money on much. Clerics could do it, so could fire mages. I did it with my fire mage after I got banned from my I/L for "jumphacking" on the Henesys sign.

Yeah, well, I was jumphacking to get ores and stuff. I'd consider that a pretty stupid reason to get permanently banned over <.< I mean it could've just been a month and next time be permanent, you know, something that gets the point across.

I guess I could try emailing them showing them that I didn't jumphack on the sign, and that you can teleport on top of it. They apparently banned me for it, so if they see in their records my account is banned for jumphacking, I might get out of it that way. It'd be nice to have a free level 33 I/L mage all of my own with a name I love, just so I could have all three kinds of mages at once <.< I also want to try messing with the lightning attack.

But damn, maybe if I just Fraps myself teleporting on the sign, they'll accept it. I'll have to level my cleric 29-30 and put the point in teleport, though, which I was intending to do anyway, since my fire mage is in Orbis and I don't feel like going on a boat and back over something so stupid.

OK I was looking around at Maple Story sites and I came across a hacking one called ossryia.com(I didn't know it was a hacking site until I clicked it). I've read about keyloggers before and now I'm scared of getting my account hacked. After about 5 seconds of open staring at the banner that said: Install ActiveX for free ms hacks, I immediatly closed out the browser. I didn't click on ANYTHING but the Close Browser button.

So to be safe I installed Ad Aware SE to scan my computer for any keyloggers and I didn't find anything. Here's a screen shot:

Any Keyloggers?

I re-scanned it, this time scanning the whole system, and it found 0 threats.

Oh and I was using IE when I went to the stupid hack site.

Maybe, maybe not.

Usually, people see keyloggers embedded in other files, not the Cache. Things like tribalfusion are common cookies.

All that was there were cache files. So assuming that Ad Aware checked everything, would I be safe?

I'm not an expert on this stuff, but I guess since you said all objects were in the cache you probably don't have a keylogger (going off what eyo said).
