I still say that peopel with cancer would be a lot better for trucker drivers to travel over. The road is just so gravelley, ya know? Then we can feed their corpses to the homeless, or those that feel suicidal.

The point is, both of them are a sickenss: Cancer and severe depression. If you don't think so, go stay with Tom Cruise. You and him share similar beliefs.

People don't go grinning and commit suicide... and they don't want to either... they believe they are "forced" into that position. Of course people have their reasons... they don't just instinctively do it out of sheer desire.

And I'll admit, they do have options... put up with a ridiculous amount of no-fun crap, go mentally insane or kill themselves... in any case it's not funny to joke about the most effective uses for their bodies.

Like I said with Cancer victims! Why don't we just make them do cheap labor in salt mines? I mean, surely that's better than getting medical treatment or help of any kind. An already wasted life, am I right? Hell, I would buy a cancer victim for a slave if I could, because they certainly don't feel anything.

A lot of suicidal people DO THINGS. THEY'RE NOT WASTED. They have jobs, they have lives. It's not your call to all of a sudden say, "Well, they're going to die soon. Let's make them food for the homeless!" Your train of thought makes no sense and is very destructive.

This being the case, you're going to die in seventy years. Your life is wasted and forfeit. Be my slave, and give up your already wasted life.

I meant after they are dead. After they kill themselves. Though, if they attempt to do it, and fail, then we use them as slaves and such. Cancer is different, you didn't bring itt upon yourself, and you can get over it.

As for me making jokes about this "suicide" issue, you're right, I think it's funny. I'm going to continue to make jokes, and bad comments, AND have absolutely no concern for who it hurts or effects negatively.. and here's why: THEY'RE IDIOTS. It's no ones fault but theres.

I was diagnosed "Bi-Polar", but you don't see me running around with a knife insuring you over and over again that "I'll do it"... why? Because I'm not an idiot.

Humans have the capability to overcome anything they damn well please, and if you want not to be depressed than you won't be, it's as simple as that. Anyone who's too much of a pussy to do so, I don't feel sorry for.

Secondly, how the hell can you even consider comparing cancer and suicide? It simply makes no logical sense to put the two together... In all reality, one is a choice, and one is a defect. You're right, I wouldn't joke about cancer, but I will joke about this, so shut the fuck up about it already.

As far as I'm concerned, I could give a shit less about the people who consider their life useless, or how they feel about it. As for you however, if you can't deal with opinions, and emotion on different topics, than your ass shouldn't be posting in Critical Thinking.

The reason I bring up cancer is because of the high fatality rate. Depression is a sickenss, as is cancer, and depression often ends in suicide. You say your bi-polar? So, you never have extreme up and down swings? You never feel like shit? Okay, good. You're either on medication or you don't have an extreme case like many have.

And, humans DO NOT have the capability to overcome anything. I can't breathe underwater. That's a huge hurtle for me. I'm pretty sure if I was in space, I would die without a suit. Well, depression is space and medication is the suit made of glass for many people. It just hurts, and after a while, space is looking pretty good.

I'm not saying suicide is the way to go at all, I'm just saying that it's a lot less avoidable than you make it seem. You seem to think the whole idea of standing on the edge is just standing there, then going, "Well, I feel rather silly. I think I'll go back and write a book about my expierience and then just live life normally, like a non-depressed person!" That's not how it works at all.

I really don't think you know what you're talking about.

But, hey, I respect your opinion how ever misinformed it is. However, telling me to get out of CT because I disagree with your opinion that all suicide victims (They're called suicide victimes. Not suicide criminals or suicide convicts for a reason) are useless after dead. Everyone is the same after death. But saying we should feed their bodies to the homeless because you feel their life has been wasted? Go to town. Take it up with the family, who I'm sure share your exact same sentiments on the subject.

I view depression and suicide as weakness. I don't care how unemotional that sounds. If you can't handle life, and you have to go and kill yourself, you are weak. You don't deserve any proper burial for quitting. You don't deserve anything at all. You're in a room with a man that's about to rape you. After he rapes you, he's going to kill you by sticking a long nail in the base of your spine and giving you a bathtub spinal tap. You have a chance to kill yourself to avoid the intense pain of him violating you, the intense pain of your spinal fluid running out. You only have the two choices: To get raped and killed very painfully or to end it painlessley.

I remember this dude a while back who that the same thing, the race of Jews were inferior. He actually went out and did something about it, though, instead of posting on a message board, probably cause they didn't have them at the time.
