Wrong. People only think they find their soul mates because it's so easy to find someone you get along well enough with to happily marry. If there was honestly one perfect person for everybody, nobody would ever find them, in our gigantic world population. Believing something like that is as silly as believing you can dance to make it rain.
Way to miss the point. There will always be arguing. If we all got along then life would be one big boring circle-jerk. gerbi and I are both intelligent (semi-intelligent in gerbi's case perhaps) human beings with differing opinions. There is no reason why we shouldn't discuss them in a public forum.
Yeah, but that doesn't mean the thread has to turn into a huge arguement. He found his answer, it pained him, lock the thread. The conversation is over. If you want to start a soul-mate statistic fight, do it in another thread.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

sorry. maybe it just bothered me because it's in this thread.

Why lock a thread if there is still discussion? Not to mention I don't really expect gerbi was interested in getting into an arguement anyway.
MCR, suck it up Nancy Boy, and get out there. There's plenty of Fish in the sea, and you have all the time in the world. If you let something like this get you down, you need to carefully examine how awesome your life is.
Okay, I know that she probably felt awkward and whatever, but the fact that she just avoided you and made you hear her answer from a friend is ****ty. First of all, she should at least grant you same courtesy you gave her by talking about this to your face. Second, what kind of girl is she? A letdown is that much more effective if you're staring him in the face.
Ironic. o_o Anyway, move on kid.. Only a few things can happen now.
1) You find someone else.
2) She finally talks to you and stuff.
3) You die alone.
4) asdfkl;lk etc.
