Lightknight's post also reminded me of something that I could give you advice on from a girl's perspective.

Don't be repetitive

It's alright in your case since you never got a clear answer, but once you do get one, don't go on and on about it like many other guys seem to do. It doesn't make us feel bad or reconsider you, it annoys girls if anything. The last thing they want is a naggy boyfriend, correct?

I just talked to one of my friends who happened to have been talking to her a couple of minutes ago. Turns out that she's been wanting to talk to me. She didn't tell him about what though. Hope it's positive.
