There really isn't any need for anybody other than Pit, Metaknight, and Snake to be in it. There's just no way a character could top any of those three.

Eric, Baleog, and Olaf would be the most amazing addition to this game EVER. Of course, to use them properly they would have to be like the Ice Climbers, except with THREE of them in stead of two.

But what I really want is for SSB64 Pikachu to make a return. I want the absolutely ridiculous combo potential created by his manueverability and disjointed hitboxes back.

You better not be joking. They really did gimp Pikachu way too much. It's like this:

Person A who works for Nintendo: "Wow... everyone is really good with Pikachu on the N64 version..."

Person B who works for Nintendo: "Yeah, that's because we made him very cheap."

A: "Oh... right. So what are we going to do for gamecube version?"

B: "Well, we'll make him so crappy that no one will be able to play as him. Then, we'll add in Pichu to make it seem like we're coutering the over-gimp, but in reality, Pichu will suck as well and will hurt himself for no good reason."

A: "That's genius. Now all we have to do is add a really crappy trophy collecting objective and we have the best game ever."

Except if you're on two different sides of Final detination or anything, and you hit an opponent with a fully charged arrow they go flying into the air. Plau, against and melee character it really pisses you opponent off 'cuz they just have more troble getting to you.

@Omega- Until a certain close range, Link's arrow is incredibly effective, especially if your opponent isn't that sporadic with movement techniques. You can plink an easy 20% with that and boomerang before they get into melee distance.

How did I not see this post? ;_; I'll do commentary on your opinions:

Apparently, the Japanese get to tell the guys at Nintendo who they want to see in SSBB. Lucky. So here's a few lists I made:

Characters that I would like to see in this game:
-Donkey Kong (maybeh) Yeah this character, one of Nintendo's oldest and also pretty well known, isn't going to be in the game. Don't get your hopes up. Unlike Fox, although he has been in the others, definitely not this one.
-Zelda (again, maybeh) No lie--if they took out Zelda/Sheik, I'd kill someone. Sheik was one of my favorites.
-Marth/Roy (either one, NOT both)Marth kicked ass. Roy was a waste of space.

Characters which I think should not be in this game:
-Ice Climbers (annoying) GTFO. Maybe if you didn't whore out Sheik (or didn't suck) you'd find out that Ice Climbers aren't all that annoying. Peach, anyone? Also, removing characters because they're "annoying" is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Characters should be removed because they're imbalanced, not annoying to you because you can't learn to counter-play.
-Pichu (pointless) Okay, I'll agree with you there.
-Ness (annoying) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No comment.
-Mewtwo (sucked too much) Actually, he should be taken out because there are too many Pokemon. The SECOND reason is because he sucks.
-Jigglypuff (also annoying) See above as to why characters should not be removed for being "annoying".

BTW, this thread should be renamed something like "! (SSBB)", so we don't have any more threeads about this.
