The only way I'll play Roy anymore is in a multiplayer game, where I'll just stand there and charge B and hope someone gets knocked into my range.

Either that or just try and parry every move thrown at me.

I was at a tournament with 64 people and the only reason I lost is because he got two hammers AND three healing items, and barely whacked me with a hammer when he had over 120% HP on his last life.

I AM NEVER PLAYING IN AN ITEM TOURNAMENT AGAIN.

Mainly because he was the guy who won the tournament.

Those are screencaps from the video. The video should be really easy to find on Google Video. Just type "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" and you should be able to find it.

Didn't think of screencaps. But dial-up (read as Netzero) prevents me from looking at many movies.

Rumours

This section is more or less my own interpretations of the many Brawl rumours that have been floating around the internet ever since the game was annouced. I've flipped through the pages here and will comment on rumours that have a significant chance of coming true.

1. Sonic
He has been rumour to be in Super Smash Bros since Melee and the large outcry for him to be in the sequel countinues. Mr. Sakurai wishes for 2-3 non-Nintendo characters to be in the title and I would expect Sonic to be one of them. Tails and Shadow maybe, but if Sega were to get involved, Sonic would be a shoo in. I have not heard of any support or interest on Sega's end to get Sonic into the game. The 3rd parties have to come to Mr. Sakurai I would think.

2. Extinction of the Clones
This is a rumour where nothing can really determine it to be true, but if the Brawl staff have listened to the negatives given by the gamers, hopefully clones will be given different moves. After many polls taken in Japan and the interest Mr. Sakurai has with the gamers requests, this has a very good chance of happening. Please give Ganondorf his sword.

3. Addition of Ridley, Bowser Jr., "Celda" Link
This has a very good chance of happening I think. Ridley has had an outcry ever since he was shown in the opening trailer to Melee (I thought he was playable from that trailer). Bowser Jr has slowly taken the stoplight from his dad, and along with the Twilight Princess Link, the "Celda" Link is growing with this generation of games. I expect them in the game.

4. Elimination of Mr. G & W, Young Link and the Ice Climbers
This too could happen, but Mr. Sakurai would probably want to add more then to eliminate. If "Celda" Link gets in the game, expect Young Link out. The Ice Climbers may be going in an opposite direction since there's two of them but who knows. And Mr. G & W? I see no need to get rid of him. Get rid of Pichu and Dr. Mario instead. Although I'm sure Mr. Sakurai would rather add then take away since adding brings a lot more happy fans.

5. Ubisofts and others Support
It has been rumoured that Micheal Ancel is interested in getting Rayman into Brawl and it could very well happen, mostly any 3rd party character can get into the game, just chances are more towards Pacman then lets say... Spyro. Rayman could be a possiblity. Just take your pick of a developer and they have a shot at getting a character on the roster. The only main rule is that Mr. Sakurai has stated that only characters from a game that has been on a Nintendo console can be in brawl. So no Master Chief or Daxter, also, no Manga/Anime characters.

6. More Fire Emblem Characters
The castle stage shown in the trailer has bought a debate about what game the castle is from but mostly everyone has agreed on it to be a Castle from the Fire Emblem series. Does this mean Marth and Roy have a stage for themselves, or that there will be new Fire Emblem characters added to the game? If new Fire Emblem characters are to join the cast my guess would be either Ike or Lyn. A main character from the game would probably be added.

They didn't mean new characters, they meant new footage of the revealed new characters.

It appears that Nintendo's doing a tour-sort of thing, so there's a possibility that each of these three sites will have the same content. I think there is a good chance that it will be this Friday.
