I don't think you can accurately compare stats across classes. Different abilities give different outputs for different classes.

Sitting on 860k DPS and 14 million toughness right now with my wizard (when buffed). I use energy armor and magic weapon for buffs.

I have 470k health and 1700-2500 in my all res.

^ the above guy with 7 mil toughness but extremely low ARs; I feel like you're gonna get blown up on higher difficulties.

A lot of health is worthless without resistance.

For the record I can solo T2 extremely efficiently with this build and elites can't do shit to my healthbar, so AR is very important. I still usually do T1 anyway though because bosses have SO MUCH HP on T2 that it's just way more efficient on T1 if I'm doing adventure mode.

I should be fine if I just replace the emeralds with diamonds. I havent had a tough time yet in T2 solo or duo.

Of course, listed DPS has very little to do with your actual DPS in practice.

Friends convinced me to get the expansion a few hours ago. Hit 70 in like 4 hours and got some stuff.

Found these on the ground, rerolled some shitty thing and got perfect crit on the first try. Goes nicely with the perfect crit damage roll, pretty sweet.


Also found this thing on the ground with a socket that I wanted to get rid of, it rerolled nicely as well. Took like 8 tries.


These two brought me back the 50% crit on the dot that I was enjoying when I was playing CM wiz.
Anyway the rest of my gear is slightly worse than those two in general, they should last me until I figure out what kind of build I'm going for and start farming specific legendaries and stuff.



Got this stupid legendary off Malthael, looked kinda shitty but then I equipped it and fell in love.

The thing is literally wider and taller than the female wizard model and has a really obnoxious blood dripping particle effect, and to top it off the wizard drags the sword around behind her when she runs. After getting it I literally just sat there for a few minutes moving around town giggling at the 2H sword run animation. Honestly in terms of raw weapon DPS it's the highest I've ever seen, and the slow speed makes it good for channeling builds. Was contemplating Sleet Storm for lols or Disintegrate, but I just went back to Arcane Torrent because it's easier to get AP-neutral. Sadly I know I am going to be replacing this the moment I can find a decent rare 1-hander with a socket.

Anyway now I look like this:



Sitting at 500k sheet dps buffed and 7 mil toughness (this is actually kinda inflated because I have assloads of unwanted vit on everything and only like 900 AR) using a simple AP-neutral Arcane Torrent build for now until I figure out what I'm doing with my wizard. Lots of fun looking builds out there... What I have now seems to be enough for T1 so I'm just going to farm in my generic gear and see what cool stuff I get and go from there.

lol, I got lucky and sold a legendary plan before the auction house got removed. made a quick 40 mil. Enchanting max lvl in 3 seconds.

Those are some really nice gloves you got there.

I rose my toughness to 8m while keeping my dps to 600k. My AR is now 1.1kish I believe.

Crazy ring I got last night, still need to find the 2nd one, and need an amulet and glove upgrade.

Also been trying for ages to get a kridershot, should increase my clear speed a TON.

Sitting at 822k dps / 4.8mil with 15% fire damage and 45% cluster arrow damage.

I picked up RoS last night and got to lvl 70. Didn't find a single upgrade but hopefully they start rolling in soon.

Got my first weapon upgrade. So glad it was a Fulminator. Replaces my lvl 60 one.

Up to 816k dps and 49.3% crit chance. I have two rings all with 1500+ life on hit, dex, and 46 and 49% crit damage. One useless stat on each which I would turn into crit chance. If I can get crit on both of them it'd be insane

hit 60 woooooo highest ever character in d3 thus far. I had a lvl 59 wizard that died a year back when I was like a bar from hitting 60 (hnnng)

Once level 60 items started rolling in I began shredding enemies like paper again. 30k damage and 750k toughness when I quit, but I'll probably double that once I get the rest of my gear out of the fifties range.

probably going to start using T1 tomorrow, although some elites already take too much effort to kill
