Is the inferno staff of herding still used for anything? I see you have the mats in the bottom right there to make it. There is no longer inferno so I don't know. I assume you can still go there and do it?
You can still use the staff to go to Whimsyshire, and it scales the enemies in there based of the difficulty you select. You can no longer upgrade it past a Staff of Herding though (Nightmarish, Hellish, Infernal). The piece you need is a grindfest and it took me finding the enemy 10 times before it dropped it. Used to be 100% drop rate if you found the creature.

Best strat: enjoy the game, play what you feel like when you feel like it. Don't think about what you are doing or why, enjoy the gameplay, the artistry behind the stepfile, and enjoy the music.
When the game isn't fun for you anymore, take a break. It's not a job, nobody here is professional and getting paid to play and force themselves to constantly improve... it's a game.

Yeah, FFR is addicting...I don't think I'll get bored with this game unless I somehow become the best at it, which won't happen.

Ok, so, I hit forty on a monk, and I'm not even done with act 3. Seven sided strike is such a clutch ability. Got a bunch of achievements for killing bosses I've killed hundreds of times, not sure what that's about.
Has Belial been nerfed pretty hard over the past while? I remember his meteor spam to be much more brutal than it was today, I barely even had to move around. Ghom, Maghda, and Siegebreaker are still super dumb and easy bosses, but at least the last two have a bunch of adds now, and Maghda doesn't spend 75% of the fight being invulnerable. I haven't even come close to dying on expert, so I'm probably gonna kick it up to master tomorrow.
reduced costs for crafting is so awesome
so is the ability to make massive stash stacks of reagents
so are the drops. I keep a chest full of leveling gear for when I make new characters, but all the drops I get far outstrip the items I stash, which were pretty fucking good at launch.
Got my HC Crusader to 70 last night with some newfound friends from my guild \:3/
Also, 7,5mil toughness right after dinging 70, but still no damage ;w;
Seems like the only real damage spec for crusader is Blunt+hammers but it gets really repetitive playing that. I guess I could experiment with Master commander+Phalanx and Bombardment too, but that spec would suffer from too many cooldowns and/or too many wrath dumps.
Right now I'm playing with a super safe, block based skillset which does at least some damage (shield slam hits for 1,2mil), but is still really slow. I can't help but feel that crusader is one of those classes that just isn't cut out for solo play.
