Out of this whole thing I only got a couple fallen branches out front of my house and a power outage that lasted like half a second last night then never got another outage. So nothing much happened for me. Its just windy atm, hasnt rained for awhile now.
Just drove around my town, the river flooded pretty bad, the road down there, and the park, are completely covered in water, I'll try to get some pictures.
Saw an SUV parked in like 3-4 feet of water.
yea there's a lot of flooding all over Jersey. Upside though, the hurricane picked up speed and lost strength so it didn't get to linger as long as was predicted. Which I'm thankful for cause the docks are all underwater. Too much more and the lake probably would have spilled over. Our basement has some water in it and behind the house is like a lake out there, some minor limb stuff right by my house. I haven't ventured out and about so I'm not sure how the rest of the town looks.

I wish we had power outages and stuff like this in cali, we don't get shit, it seems like it would be kind of fun to deal with that stuff. All of you guys stay safe though

Pretty much exactly what I expected, gg statistics, eff you overhyping news reportards
It wasn't too much hype. There were double-digit deaths involved. What was predicted for us was from foreshadowing what we already witnessed more down south probably over actual statistics. Whatever the reason, the hurricane did damage, be thankful you didn't drive somewhere and have a tree land on your car.
In other news, Boston streets (Chelsea, Everett etc...) were covered in branches. Entire commuter system was offline today (which sucks).
