Right, there's a few reasons we should still be cautious, especially in coastal areas. The rain surplus + slow moving hurricane + high tide (where I am, at least) = water!
These areas are also pretty unused to this kind of weather, so emergency services could get tied up real quick rescuing some dumbass. Dead trees that have only stayed up because the weather is usually mild are gonna be all over the roads and power wires, etc.
