Dammit, I'm already Lvl 16

There's no way to transfer characters, either. It says I'm playing MapleStory, which sucks, because I assumed it would be the same game. Also, I hate the MapleStory mainpage, because I got rid of IE a long time ago and you need it to view the subsequent pages, which led me to MapleSea, as it was FireFox accessible.

rofl, Mal, 16 isn't very much. I could get to 16 in a day if I wanted to. Just start over, and yes, you do need a new client. I still use IE as my main browser for some reason.

Mal, it is impossibly to completely remove Internet Explorer from Windows.

Try simply opening one of your hardrives in a window. Then, in the place of the direction of the drive, type in "http://www.mapleglobal.com/" and you should be fine.

PS my temp setup is laggy, but not anywhere near as laggy as my other temp that got owned by my dad. I'll still be on. HORRAY!

Chromer, you need 25 dex for the job advancement. Beyond that, it should be mostly luck. I think you need dex = 2x your level for equips, though. Personally, I would bump dex up to around 30 or so before the job advancement because luck won't increase your attack until you're a thief, so you might as well get the extra attack power from dex in the mean time.

Oh, and about how 16 is nothing and people could get there in no time. I made a new character and got him to 11 and 60% (I think?) in a matter of hours. I didn't get anybody to help me (EoD wanted me to leech off of her at pig beech, but that's boring as hell), I just got to 10 by myself, flew to Ossy, and switched over to YingYangTwin and started killing Jr. Grupins. I'll keep this up until the archer, CurtisJckson (50 Cent's real name), is about level 20, then I may actually play the character for real. This is exactly what I did with my warrior (SnoopDawg), and that worked out pretty much perfectly.

So Mal, if you can get one character to kitty-killing powers, you can easily raise a new character really fast. Oh, and by the way, what job are you making your characters?

Warrior for the sheer hell of it. And yeah, I started at 12 and I'm already Lvl 11. Wooden letters? What do they do?

Meh, I bumped my character's Dex up to 30 and been just putting my APs into Luk. My stats are now:

Str: 4
Dex: 30
Int: 6
Luk: 15

Mal, you honestly shouldn't worry about the site. I haven't accessed it in an eternity, simply because when I patch MS, it tells me what's happening. So don't sweat it.

P.S.: Also, in case you can't access the site, it's an event for Thanksgiving. Spell out "Maple Story" with your wooden letters and you get a chance at NX Points, which is what you use to get stuff from the Cash Shop.
