I just started not that long ago. I made three character's, a lvl 21 theif, a lvl 17 warrior, and a lvl 13 archer. I want to make a mage soon. Now should I make this mage a.s.a.p or should I focus on my theif?

They are going for 50k or so at the moment. They're so unbelievably common it's funny, so sell it quick before price drops.

Also, only focus on one character unless you get bored, because that's the way to stay interested while getting the most progress.

Used 3000 horns + 2100 Zombie Teeth to get my Sin til 19. Unfortunately I got everthing except a Fairie Wing from those Teeth :P

So what do I do for level 34? Does FA jump up a notch or what? Also if you guys want to sell me a Dark Chaos Robe, I would appreciate it very much.

Obviously just put 2 more levels into FA, save for a few levels, then shove the points into it, max it out, then uhh do what you want...

I'd say max out teleport so you can train faster. If you want meditation, you can always party with another fire mage who is maxing that. :P

Since MS humor completely fails in the GB, I decided I'd post this convo here. My level 9 friend comes over from Diablo 2 and keeps complaining about how long it takes to level. You other mages are funny. Worrying about what to put points in. I get 10+ points extra it seems and I max everything I want to.

Hit level 40 today... Took quite a while, but it is worth it... Still need 60% scrolls so if Squeek or anyone else in Scania has any, I'll buy them off of you.
Me killing copper drakes and fire boars...

My stats and stuff. Yeah, you may say I messed up my skills a little but I use soul arrow much more than booster, just because I only have bronze arrows in my inventory. I only use booster when I'm training in a hurry... Booster just drains MP and HP and thus, your pots and money...

Hey, guys, I just started playing a while back. I have a level 10 dude on Scania, but I ditched him quick, after learning the basics and screwing up his stats.
I now have a warrior at level 13 on Bera. I don't get to play too much.

Boy it's good actually having one of you on my server. Alas, I do not have any scrolls as the enemies I am forced to train on only drop 10% Bottomwear for Defense scrolls...very rarely. I've gotten 3 in 20+ levels there. I gave them all away to friends and each one of them worked.

Speaking of passing 10%s, I scrolled my Anakamoon with 10%s for Overall Defense for the +10 HP on each passing scroll. Passed 3, which is what I was hoping for. Quite happy. Working on making an HP hat, but NOBODY has Helmet HP scrolls.

Silly newb, the MP cost doesn't double after level 10, it doubles after level 15. If you don't have money, save up points after level 35(?) and jump FA up 6 or 9 points in one level to save money. If you have plenty of MP pots/go idle a lot/are rich, don't bother saving up. As for tele, DON'T ADD ANYTHING TO IT. People will tell you that it's good and that you have to have it, but the truth is that unless you've had it before, you won't miss it, so it's best to go a while without it. Now that I have it I use it sometimes, but it pains me because it eats up my MP. As soon as FA was maxed, I put 2 in MP Eater to unlock meditation and 1 in teleport so that I could do it. Trust me, even at 4x levels it ate my MP up like crazy. Seriously, I could stand in one spot and teleport up and my MP would be gone in like, 10 seconds. It was NOT worth it to use it. Now it's at level 5 and costs 48 MP, and I try not to use it.

But anywho, max FA, then get meditation. It doesn't increase your attack that much, but it's nice to have. It equates to about 4 more levels adding pure int, disregarding new equips and stuff you might get. And as for what to get after that.....I dunno. Wait till I max Slow and I'll tell you if it's worth it to do that or if you should max MP Eater/tele first. So far, level 6 Slow is disappointing. -12 speed is noticeable, but not by a whole lot. It's kinda like haste in that early on it's disappointing but then later you're like HOLY SHIT YES!! I've seen the difference between level 15 and level 20 haste, so I'm excited for level 20 Slow, but for now it's kinda meh. By 56, I think, I'll know if it was worth getting early. So far away..... :'(.

Anywho, I won the auction for that +3 int aqua circlet. I talked to the girl, and she's actually buying it from somebody else so I'll have to wait for it, but that's okay because I have an English final paper to do that's do tomorrow (well, tonight, now) at 6pm. I have to do a presentation, too! WHEEEEEE!!! So yeah, you guys won't see me on MS until Thursday, most likely. And when I get back on, ERIC BETTER BE LEVEL 50 OR HIGHER OR I WILL FREAKING MURDER HIM. Oh, speaking of which, the big partay oughta be this weekend sometime. If you're interested in tagging along, say so. So far, the level 50+ people are:

Me, Afro, Bandit, Eric soon, MM? (he's close, at least). I think that's all. But we all must go explore El Nath together!! Afterwards (or before, whichever) we should go explore every place in the game as a group. We will tour the cities and impress the newbs, and go see Balrog, perhaps. :O People below level 50 are welcome to join for this part, but keep in mind that max party size is 6, so we may need to have a couple parties. If you're interested in coming for any part, say so here and we can keep a running list of who is coming.
