There's the lore for you.

As for gameplay well it's pretty much a hack & slashers, dungeon-crawler loot whores wet dream. Simple as that. Pick one of five classes (Wizard, Witch Doctor, Barbarian, Monk or Demon Hunter) and set out to kill shit.

I'm most impressed with the variations on skills. Ofc every class has different skills but you can mod them with runes and a variety of them. Add that to passive skills and an intriguing "Signature skill" resource generation mechanic and there you go....your life gone.

Oh! And the real money auction house. Yep you heard me.
