It took them 9 years to dumb it down and make it boring. May as well just go play CoD if you already have it instead of wasting more money on mindless games like this.

Pretty hyped here. Getting my copy for free being a WoW-nerd, really looking forward to it. I participated in the Beta too, which makes me a little more hyped (More than the weekend thing). Already installed and ready to go once servers go live.

Though, I didn't play D2, so I feel like I'm missing out on a lot.

Going to be playing it free thanks to WoW. I had a beta invite for a long time but never went on it, I guess I get an achievement just for being in beta though.

Blizzard just makes the best games of all time. Someone sold me a copy of Diablo 2 back in the day (03'ish) but I never installed it or played it either. But I heard it was pretty good as well.

SC2 looks incredible. Have you ever seen it in ultra graphics? It's the prettiest RTS out there by far.

Also, I far prefer expansion packs over any kind of DLC bullshit or cash shops. SC2 might not be at the point competitively that SC was in terms of total understanding of the game, but it's getting there. It's easily the most entertaining game to watch being played competitively due to the depth of it.

Again, clearly you haven't been paying attention to the recent news on SC2, because there's a huge arcade patch planned that should make custom map making much better, along with tons of b.net fixes and changes that will come with the next expansion.

I wasn't the one who said they weren't making fixes.

SC2's graphics are good if you like games that were once gritty being remade so everything looks like it belongs in a McDonald's play place.

Realistic 2d is better than blocky 3d imo.

Is it really wrong to dumb down the game a little? Have you played it? What makes you think it's boring?

CoD probably takes more skill than this game from a casual standpoint. But I don't even see how bringing CoD in comparison to D3's gameplay is even remotely significant. Saying something like this is basically you trying very hard to voice a hipster opinion and start an argument with the rest of the board.

I wish that you'd elaborate a little more on what you find wrong with the game.
