xbow + crit damage socket is the way to go on dh

every other class needs a good amount of as (monks for spirit regen/barbs running onhit life/wizzies for procs and because all their actual damage skills are unuseable in inferno/wd's running tridart and on-hit disables)

some classes need skill damage more than others but it's pretty stupid to neglect AS a whole because potential dps =/= effective dps

read: can't dps if ur dead l0l

I do have a legit question, can this be played offline? My internet is up and down and I kinda don't enjoy playing Rift anymore lol (maybe when 1.9 comes out).

For burst, yes, but not everyone runs with sharpshooter. You're better off using bows for CtW+caltrops builds etc. Though most people run with ss and just go for burst, so you're right.

By the way... the more I play this game, the more I think it's a piece of shit. I'm starting to think it's going to be better to wait a few months and see what they do with it.

Not everything is available via AH yet. If you're talking about these things such as not being able to buy gems it's intentional.
