See, this is my thinking, but the others believe there's a deeper meaning to the event.

No one can really prove anything though is the problem.

The selected character is not even hinted at receiving a reward, while it is explicit that one among the remaining players in the event will. If you think BestGirlTM has some game meaning, will you explain why? Is that kind of obfuscation commonly used here? My problem with it is not only how unintuitive it is, but also there only being 5 people involved. Ignoring stuff like not expecting Greg to make such an event, stuff like "would each girl be privately told they're not allowed to vote", etc.

This is the last time I reply to you for at least 24hr. You asked me to explain to you why your idea is awful. You are not a child, you understand that the significance of the event relies on balancing the outcomes of the event. When I go to talk about the outcomes of the event, you say talking about them is scummy. You are a giant waste of time. Bye

you ignored pretty much everything i said for 1-3, so it's kinda unfortunate because talking to a brick wall isn't very pleasant

like, if you're not going to properly read my responses, there's not much i can really do, other than reach out to everyone else who's reading, because i think i explained myself relatively clearly. we lose out on voting information if everyone is arbitrarily stacked, which could help narrow down interactions later. Because of the nature of the event being RNG, the benefit of having everyone present in the game in the final round, which again, will or won't be of detriment depending on its nature could be actually outweighed by having the extra information

also, it's really sad to see someone get any bit of heat regarding their reasoning, then try and spin shit the wrong way, and refuse to respond to other people, because it's a very cheap way to not have to justify themselves. vote stays tbh

I still haven't read any of the big posts spruce supposedly made about hidden mechanics but I'm willing to drop them if that wasn't already obvious

Adam looked awful with his push on tok specifically so I'm thinking why tok over me daikyi or shado and most logical is that they're partners and he's trying to distance early. I bet his vote isn't on tokzic anymore either. Also considering charu connected to adam and hey if I'm right that's already 3 wolves down but I'm probably wrong about charu specifically, feel good about the Adam/ tok angle

Round three pits the remaining players against one another to determine which of the final two waifus is the true Best Girl™. Those who have voted for the true Best Girl™ will advance to a sudden death tiebreaker that shall remain unannounced for the time being.

It's not only the girl receiving a prize, in any case. Personally, I think it's extremely unlikely the girl receives a prize, but I'm listening in case there is reason to believe otherwise

i think it's generally accepted that spruce is telling the truth, and can be easily verified as someone gets into the secret shop
