AJ, firstly off I have to say this, attacking Emith's age is 100x more immature than spouting Free Kommi all over the place. That's just plain ****ing stupid. I'm sure you've been around long enough to know that age doesn't necessarily directly relate to intelligence OR maturity. I may as well attack you for being a nerd for playing a game like this if that's the case, but then what would be the point? It's the same concept man.

Secondly, this whole idea of exercising mods' "right" to ban for things they deem appropriate gives too much control imo. Since issues like this are arisen ALL THE DAMN TIME and half of them are always left unresolved, leaving everyone feeling pissed off, especially players because 9/10 times our words are left unheeded and everything goes back to status quo. But that's not this discussion.
To ban someone for simply for saying something is idiotic to begin with. I can understand if there was spamming or overly-aggressive emotions behind it all, but most of the time it's just as a joke. I do personally believe Kommi was banned inappropriately, but I wasn't actually there when it happened so all I have to go on is what others have told me.

Emithith, why in the hell are you even making a big deal about this? You're not even close to anyone within the SM community - hell, it only seems like you're doing it to band-wagon a clique that you can never be a part of.

You should also take notice that you're one of the few users who are complaining about something like this. How is following the rules bringing about a negative attention? The only attention that is being brought about is the people who are whining about bans they're taking from spewing the same garbage over and over again.

True, I don't know kommi outside of the one post or two that I have chatted with him back in April but why do I need to explain myself to you? I'm not jumping on the bandwagon I just have a pet-peeve for broken logic/rule and a pet peeve for injustice.

Also, There are so many people who are agreeing with me behind your backs, they're just not even participating because this could go south so fast and they are afraid they will get banned for having an opposing value (that's brain washing, by the way.)

I do personally believe Kommi was banned inappropriately, but I wasn't actually there when it happened so all I have to go on is what others have told me.

lol, FFR isn't North Korea ffs. Having a contrary opinion doesn't get you banned. Being a cockwad while delivering said opinion is what gets you shitcanned.

Anyways, if it were up to me, I'd just unban Kommi and call it good. Yeah, he posted obscene crap, but honestly, I think enough time has passed, and it'd result in less headache for everyone overall. Just my 1.55436388 Yen.

Did you miss my whole post? I didn't know the whole situation because I wasn't there so I've only heard what happened.
If that's the case, then he should be banned, but I really don't care either way. He was nice enough, but if he was stupid enough to do that then, well he deserved a ban.

Second off, no one is exercising their powers to ban/act whenever they want. It's like I've mentioned countless times in the other thread, if you do something you're not supposed to, you still get an infraction (depending on the severity of it). The whole "Free Kommi" posting is being taken as spam, and on the forums, it's frowned upon enough to be considered rule-breaking. Yet, people continue to do it. It's indirect harassment to those who are browsing the forums for actual content.

And if you think Kommi was banned inappropriately, you obviously don't realize that pornography (even if it's cartoon in nature) is very serious. He didn't do it purposely, but that doesn't detract from the fact that he still did it.
