Oh yeah? Well I stepped something by dBu and DJ AirWave. Nobody cares, but man, my files are awesome. PR, layering, everything. Epic. I'm sure they'll get in. If they don't, I'm going to post a long-winded rant right in this here thread.

I sent two in, Drum Solo of Doom and Pain Redefined

If Drum Solo doesn't get in, I have no idea what the **** I'm supposed to do with it, I find it as perfect as can be (it follows the sheet music and pitch perfectly IMO)

Hey question
Since hands and crap are only allowed in FMOs
If I step something to VCish difficulty and add hands can it be accepted and turned FMO

WHOA

Why? A hand is just a tool of layering and doesn't really make things harder unless used in a lot of chaos. I think that if somebody playing on even the difficulty 1 level can hit 2 buttons, they can hit 3. In fact if I were a newbie player I'd be pretty insulted that it is assumed I cannot hit 3 buttons at a time.

because they piss off newbies who have no idea what you're meant to do with them

most keyboards can't handle all sets of three presses on the arrow keys and definitely won't handle all four, and the idea of sliding across the keyboard to hit them all in one motion may be unintuitive and hard to hit with perfect accuracy (unlike stepmania where hands aren't judged until the last note, allowing hands to be marved when slid)

HOWEVER, you're allowed to use hands in VCs and below if you have sufficient melodic reason to use them (i.e. at tass's disgression)

Oh. I had no idea it was a counter-measure to bad hardware. Well, I can understand that. Carry on everybody.
It's still really easy to hit 3 buttons at a time my 10 year old niece can do it

It just seems kind of out of place in some of these parts to have a jump on such a heavy beat when I've been layering jumps on such minor parts.

I suppose I can get away with jumps.
