I think stream patterns really don't matter and you don't have to try to avoid 8th jacks in a stream. I try to avoid putting in minitrills into stream that fast (see SP to see how bad that registers), but 8th jacks are unavoidable if you're going to have a stream that isn't purely rolls.

Yeah I know they're unavoidable.. don't know how fun 4 framers are going to be in this file since they show up around 8 minutes into the song. Would probably get a lot of complaints about losing an 8 minute, several thousand combo to jack syndrome, but yeah, it's unavoidable.

And Hi19, I'll send you the file when I'm finished so you can judge it yourself with your nonstop negative criticism all you want. Unless Tass has a problem with that.. and, given that my "track record" is comprised of 3 files, you don't have much room to be criticising me yet. I made the mistake of sending in files extremely early into my stepfile creation experience, I think Let Mom Sleep was my 5th or 6th stepfile overall. Pokelda edited out almost every single thing I put into DT Rabbit Blood Festival and PGO, I'll admit, sucked. You haven't seen much by me yet that can prove what I'm capable of stepping currently, and since I sent files early on, you probably won't for a while. I can't help that at this point, but I'm getting tired of getting judged by my current files which show essentially nothing about my capabilities.

Actually, I really liked Let Mom Sleep before the edits, despite the rhythmic errors.

Well, if you think you can do it... I won't get in your way.
If you can pull it off, I'll be impressed.

Until then, VERY skeptical + I don't want a Pants x2 going in the game.

EDIT- also, yeah, Let Mom sleep was a sweet file with those 24ths and offsync notes. I actually liked the 24ths... The edits bland-ified it, made it bad. And PGO and DT RB are some of the worst files since Synthlight.

I only edited two things.. the offsync notes and the 24ths. I took out the 24ths because they contrasted with the overall difficulty of the file.

Why would off sync notes make it a good file..?

24ths were not bad at all, it was good burst practice and good mashing practice for nublets. My friend who is sometimes able to combo Breaking the Common comboed the 24ths by mashing and he said it was really fun to do so.

Also, the offsync notes had pretty colors ^____________^

what do you mean? you mean when i post updates? they'll likely be a little different in their appearance, but still easily readable.

Excellent

Needs moderate editing
