well, he's older than me(just realized on ffr it's only a month) and i've been around for 2 years, and he is one of the best steppers from then/now. that's what i was aiming for.

I've never been so disappointed by a man from Alabama than I am right now
when I play a song in ffr some of the notes seem slightly out of place
it's particularly noticable in death piano's 12th jacks where they come all staggered looking
what's going on there, is it some barrier to perfect quantization on ffr? and should I be accounting for it in any submissions I make?
FFR runs at 30 frames per second. aka, notes can only be placed on 30 spots within a second of time. So if you have long jack sections that aren't the exact proper bpm to match up evenly with the framerate (like 180bpm 8th jacks are perfectly 5 frames apart), such as 185bpm 8th jacks, you'll have most notes that are 5 frames apart, but some that are 4.
what can be done about it? increase the framerate. but that creates all kinds of other issues... every single level would have to be re-converted, the timing window would have to be changed, and there would be much more lag for many users.
