The first part of this update will review the roadmap from January and what was finished. The finished items are in bold and green.

Roadmap until March 31st, 2018:

Batches

- Re-open the Regular Batch starting with January/February 2018 for two-month periods


Batch Search Engine

- Mentioned bug fixes in the current Batch Search Engine Changelog Thread
- Fix Official Tournament Batch 500 error
- Fix stray \r\n in file reviews

- Provide a way for staff to add songs to the BSE.

Judging

- Finish judging the remaining batches in 2017, and the last set in November/December 2016

- Go through the 11 current Pending Fix Files

Song Releases

- Start Bi-Weekly Songs of the Week again in February



Plan for the next two weeks

As you may know, April 1st (Sunday) is Easter, April Fools, and Passover! The song release will be then instead of today; usually song releases are on Saturdays every two weeks.

The 2016-2017 regular batch periods are finally completed for main judgments and passed files, although there is a backlog of Pending Fixes to be addressed. We're one batch away from being completely caught up! January/February 2018 was recently split up into sets.

Similar to what happened in January, these next two weeks will be focused on a roadmap for April through June and that will also cover topics like Batch Search Engine updates.

This update involves a roadmap for April - May 2018.

Roadmap until June 30th, 2018:

Batches
- Start the Early Release Batch in May

Batch Search Engine
- Updates, emphasizing Pending Fixes as the focus
- Provide a way for staff to add songs to the BSE.

Judging
- Focus on Pending Fixes in this timeframe

Song Releases
- Continue Bi-Weekly Releases until the Early Release Batch closes

Up to the end of June, the April to June Roadmap is a good reference.

The Early Release Special Batch is now open until the end of June. More information on it can be found in the thread.

Concerning May releases, the next two releases are planned for Mother's Day (May 13th, Sunday) and Memorial Day (May 28th, Monday).

The Official Tournament 12 Batch is going to be the major focus for the next month. The Early Release Special Batch is still open until the end of June, although the Official Tournament and Pending Fixes will be having priority in the current situation.

Because of the focus on the Official Tournament Special Batch, the releases are going to slow down to give a chance for the GMs to look through what will be suitable tournament material. The upcoming releases will be Memorial Day (Monday, May 28th) followed by another on Father's Day (Sunday, June 17th).

James May posted his Pending Fix reviews.

The BSE update from today provides a nice summary of what has happened with the Pending Fix files, and what will be happening with the Early Release Special Batch in terms of the May portion. The Early Release Special Batch is planned to be done in two parts (May and June), and it isn't reflected on the BSE yet since it requires assembling the files into sets and March/April 2018 will be replaced with the Early Release Special Batch.

For the Official Tournament 12 Batch, the submissions closed May 31st. The Early Release Special Batch is open until the end of June.

The Early Release Special Batch May submissions (including transfers from the March/April 2018 regular batch) have been split into two sets of 5 files each. Set 1 is assigned to DarkZtar and Set 2 is assigned to James May.

June submissions for the Early Release Special Batch are still open until the end of June 30th (11:59 PM EST), and those will be assembled into sets to judge after that batch closes.

Song Releases are postponed for now, with the focus being on the Official Tournament Batch and Early Release Batch. If after several weeks there are not enough Accepted files, regular bi-weekly releases will continue if the Official Tournament is not in session.

The June submissions for the Early Release Special Batch are now closed. To summarize, the May section had 10 submissions, and the June section had 21 submissions. The files and how they've been split up into sets can be found in this post.

DarkZtar finished Set 1 in the May section of the Early Release Special Batch.

Anyone who submitted to the Official Tournament Special Batch should read this post, as it contains information on checking the status of your submission to that batch.

As mentioned earlier, song releases are postponed for now as judgment for the Early Release Special Batch continues.

James May finished Set 2 of the May section of the Early Release Special Batch, finishing the May Section. The June section has 4 sets, 2 of which are currently assigned:
- DarkZtar has Set 2
- Wayward Vagabond has Set 4

There are three accepted files from the May portion of the Early Release Special Batch, although song releases will be postponed until there are more accepted files in the June portion.

Also be sure to follow the Official Tournament Special Batch thread for updates on that batch. The linked post is the most recent update as of now.

I took an unofficial break from rhythm games in general. For July as a month, there were many different events that took place.

Over the next two weeks I'm anticipating a BSE update and getting the rest of the June portion of the Early Release Special Batch assigned. I'll also look into what remaining Pending Fixes there are.

Last few weeks have been really busy for me, although I'm aiming to get the other two sets in the June section of the Early Release Special Batch assigned.

A large BSE update was done, which also included putting up the Early Release Special Batch. As of now, the May sets are completed and one June set is completed.

There were two oustanding pending fixes that were resolved.

DarkZtar finished judging Set 2 in Early Release June 2018.

The status is basically two weeks ago but with a few more updates.

DarkZtar was given Set 1 in the Early Release Special Batch June section, which leaves Set 3 to be assigned.

At some point in the near future, there might be a week-release event.

There will be a 5 day release event from October 1-5, and there's no updates on the Early Release Special Batch June section as of the last update. The last set to be assigned is still Set 3.

finished more judgments for the Official Tournament Special Batch, and it's recommended to look in the Official Tournament Special Batch thread to see the progress of the Official Tournament. This is currently the focus.

Thanksgiving Day (November 22) and Christmas Day (December 25) are going to be the last planned song releases for this year, with the Official Tournament Batch being the primary focus for judgments.
