Updates from last week:

Batch
- Phase 1 of the High FGO Special Batch was finished with the completion of Sets 5 and 6.
- The current plan for Phase 2 of the High FGO Special Batch is to have One Winged Angel do lead reviews for two Sets. Phase 2 is a smaller Batch with 19 files in 4 Sets. I'll see if another judge or two can help with lead reviews as I'm mainly doing the reviewer tasks for these Sets.
- January/February 2015 needs some primary judges assigned; I'm still in the process of finding some primary judges for any of the 5 sets remaining that require primary judges. My current focus is pending fixes and the High FGO Special Batch.
- Despite being Spring Break I still have several university-related items to get to in addition to an event that will take up Friday and Saturday this coming week. I'll see if I can go through a few pending fixes for conditionally queue'd files this week.
- A long-awaited frame fix for Turbo will be done early this week.
- The Song Release for this week on Tuesday will be quite challenging, so keep a look out for that!

Updates from last week:

Batch
- I carried out the Hard Song Release on March 15th and did a frame fix for Turbo. It's interesting to note that Grind4 is now the hardest song ingame under one minute long.
- Some of you probably know about the Stepmania Index Showcase I had on Friday also going into Saturday. With the combination of academics and graduation planning I had over Spring Break, along with needing to relax, I'm burning myself out by giving myself too many tasks. This week and next week I'm going to be stacked with a lot of advising-related matters and midterm material, so I won't be available until the weekend to plan for the next Song Release (and doing mostly planning).
- More judges need to step up and take sets for the Batch to continue. I'm going to ask for another update on availability for judge planning. I'm limiting myself to Reviewer Tasks right now; Pending Fixes could use another veteran judge, although the idea is to get the batch moving again without putting a lot of the weight onto just me.

Updates from last week:

Batch
- I apologize for the typo about the Hard Songs Batch in the previous update. It said Phase 1 when it should have said Phase 2.
- All the remaining sets for January/February 2015 now have primary judges. Gradiant was assigned Set 2, DarkZtar was assigned Sets 3 and 5 and 6, and gameboy42690 was assigned Set 7.
- One Winged Angel told me the earliest he'd be able to do lead reviews for a set in Phase 2 is Tuesday this week. I'm going to be busy for most of the week, so when the weekend comes around I might be able to do a Reviewer Task if a set is finished from that batch.
- Another issue is fixes sent for Conditionally Queue'd files. So far these tasks have mainly been assigned to me, and I'll have to think about how this will work when the weekend comes around. I was slammed last week and this week with academics so I haven't been able to spend much time in those areas; that requires more planning.

Batch
- One Winged Angel finished lead notes for Set 1 in Phase 2 of the High FGO Special Batch, although I have one file in there that has to be resolved by another veteran judge. I'll try to finalize that set this weekend if not on Friday.
- Concerning Set 3 for Phase 2 of the High FGO Special Batch, One Winged Angel is also assigned to that Set and it needs lead notes from him. The other two sets are to be determined for a later time.
- gameboy42690 finished the primary judge task for Set 7 in January/February 2015; the results were posted, and the other remaining sets are still to be done by their assigned primary judges.
- A big issue I have right now is that it's the last month of this semester and everything is picking up fast in addition with the advising and planning I have to carry out; it's been tough to find another qualified user to be as a Game Manager.

The updates from this week will be included in the next Weekly Update. Songs of the Week is postponed until further notice. I'm taking a break from this site for a week to help myself recover; this week was terrible and I've got a crucial week coming up with assessments and graduation planning. Have a good weekend.

Batch
- Returning from the previous week: I can't promise a commitment to this site until early May after my final exams are over this semester (there are also other academic commitments I need to get to). It might be possible for me to assign some judging tasks and other planning, although my time is very limited right now.
- DarkZtar finished the primary judge task for Set 3 in January/February 2015, although the reviews won't be published until Tuesday evening (the day of the next Song Release).
- I've determined the song release to be on April 19th, Tuesday 10:00 PM EST. After that, Songs of the Week will be limited to one Song Release every month for the time being. More details on this will be provided when the Front Page Post for that song release is made.
- The file conflict in Set 1 Phase 2 of the High FGO Special Batch resolved.
- I won't be providing any more updates on the Official Tournament Batch or Official Tournament. Head over to the Official Tournament Special Batch thread for this as I'm not the one that is in charge of it.

- Like stated in the previous update, I can't promise a commitment to this site until early May after my final exams are over this semester. After the first week of May is over I can start kicking into the batch backlog again.
- Song Releases are limited to Songs of the Month for the time being. The details are mentioned in the front page post.
- gameboy42690 will be doing Set 2 in Phase 2 of the High FGO Special Batch. The Lead Judge task for Set 4 is still to be determined, although that will suffice for now.
- One Winged Angel helped transition the new difficulty consultants.
- I'd also like to give a reminder to everyone that the public batches can have more user reviews.

Batch
- The final exam crunch is over although I'm still somewhat limited in availability (I won't go into specifics here). This week will be good for catching up, so my priority for the batches is the Hard Batch, where I can provide some Reviewer notes.
- On the topic of above, gameboy42690 finished Set 2 Lead Notes for Phase 2 of the High FGO Special Batch.
- Gradiant finished Set 2, and DarkZtar finished Set 5 in the January/February 2015 batch. Those primary judge notes should be coming up later on Monday.
- This week ideally I'd want to also get into the conditional queue files again that aren't related to the OT Batch.
- The Batch Search Engine needs some updating for the judged files, including the Official Tournament Batch results.

Batch
- For the most part, this week was a success in me catching up. The Batch Search Engine was updated with the three last song releases, results from the OT Batch Sets 11-16, and the two judged Phase 2 Hard Batch files. Conditional Queue still needs some updating since a good number of files have fixes sent for them, so updating the BSE with those as "Pending Fixes" would be the first step before getting into the details of each file fix.
- One Winged Angel finished Lead Notes for Set 3 in Phase 2 of the Hard Batch, which leaves just Set 4 requiring Lead Notes. An overlooked file was also added to that set so it has 5 files now. That is the last set in Phase 2 of the Hard Batch.
- Sets 1 and 2 in Phase 2 of the Hard Batch are done.
- Set 6 in January/February 2015 is the last set in that batch, and I'll see which primary judge can finish it in a reasonable period of time. In the meantime I've stickied the three March/April 2015 Set Threads.
- Summer courses start for me tomorrow and I want to situate myself this week so I won't be able to get to Set 3 in Phase 2 of the Hard Batch for Reviewer Notes until at least Friday.
- The next Songs of the Month release will be 10 PM EST on Tuesday, May 17th.

- Songs of the Month was released for May (slightly delayed), and it's still being kept to every month for the time being.
- Set 3 in Phase 2 of the Hard Batch was finished, which leaves just Set 4 and then the Hard Batch is finished.
- On the above note, gameboy42690 was assigned the lead judge task for Set 4 and I'll be the Reviewer Judge.
- Gradiant was reassigned as the primary to Set 6 in January/February 2015 to close out that batch.

- gameboy42690 was able to judge 3 out of 5 files in Set 4 Phase 2 of the Hard Batch, although One Winged Angel may need to provide the 2 other files with Lead Notes. I'm still trying to figure that out.
- Gradiant was reassigned as the primary to Set 6 in January/February 2015 to close out that batch.
- Accelerated summer courses aren't being too nice on my time right now in addition to other commitments, so while I can consider doing the Reviewer Task for Set 4 Phase 2 of the Hard Batch near the end of this week I can't guarantee it.
- The current plan is to close out the January/February 2015 Batch and the Hard Batch, then go to Conditional Queue.

- As many of you probably know, the Official Tournament Sign Ups are open. Go to the 11th Official Tournament Thread for more information.
- One Winged Angel can probably give lead notes on the two other files in Set 4 Phase 2 in the Hard Batch this week, although I'm going to be busy with midterms and a research paper through the middle of next week. My availability will be limited to file preparation related to the Official Tournament for the time being.
- I'm moreso giving a future plan on what will happen starting the middle of next week, which will be closing the Hard Batch if lead notes are completed on the last set, helping with files in the Official Tournament, and updating the Batch Search Engine with conditional queue file fixes. Gradiant should also be able to finish the last set in January/February 2015 either this week or next week.
- On another note: If you haven't already read the June 2016 Site Updates, please read them. In addition, it is encouraged that users get involved in some more reviews for the March/April 2015 batches as those will come after January/February 2015 closing.

I have two midterms this week starting 8 AM tomorrow and I won't be able to cover the items I mentioned in last week's update until probably Thursday this week; I'll post in the Hard Songs Batch thread around that time for an update on the lead notes and get to updating conditional queue sent fixes the end of this week.

Updates from last week:

Batch
- Last week and this week are important weeks for my accelerated summer classes, so I'm focused on planning for the first half of this week.
- Set 4 in Phase 2 of the Hard Batch has lead notes finished and TC_Halogen will be doing the Reviewer task with the exception of Make The Fire Burn which I'll handle later this week. After this set is done, the Hard Batch can finally be closed.
- Gradiant finished Set 6, the last set in January/February 2015. DarkZtar will be handling "The Castle" which was an individual file that wasn't included in a set, and then this batch can be closed.
- Barring Set 4 in Phase 2, I made an Hard Batch Conditional Queue Overview post. The users who haven't sent in fixes were sent a PM.
- I also made an January/February Conditional Queue 2015 overview post. Early this week a PM will be sent to the users that have not sent in fixes for these files.
- There are still the 2014 batches to dig through for conditional queue. I'll address those later this week.
- As far as conditional queue goes, I'll have to see the judges that were assigned to the CQ'd files. The corresponding judges that left a review for the files will be the ones checking the sent fixes.
- Since the next focus is the March/April 2015 batch, users are encouraged to leave reviews for every file in any of the sets in the Active Sets. Remember to keep the FFR Public Judgment System thread in mind; it also states every set needs at least three user reviews before a primary judge can be assigned, and we're close on the three sets in that batch.
