Updates from last week:

Batch
- The three new policies were put into place in the New Judgment System. Details follow in the linked post.
- After handling the 12/1/15 Release on Tuesday, I will be taking the rest of this week off for work and university related commitments I've been pushing off for too long.
- Reviews for Set 2 and Set 3 for Phase 1 of the High FGO Special Batch were finished.
- gameboy42690 finished Set 4 Lead Notes for Phase 1 of the High FGO Special Batch.
- One Winged Angel will be returning from his trip this week and might be able to do some more lead notes for the High FGO Special Batch. More details on this to come later.

Web Development Team
- Terry is still working on the Task Progress Page.
- A tentative deadline of December 7th has been given for the FFR Wikicode Task related to getting song information from a levelstats page.
- A new task related to a different individual batch display page has been assigned to YoshL.

Updates from last week:

Batch
- The Transfer Policy in the New Judgment System was extended to allow staff members to perform all relevant transfers to a special batch.
- Last week some more FFR-related matters came up so I'll need until Wednesday to continue university-related commitments. In the meantime, Silvuh will continue with looking into Conditional Queue Pending Fixes for files not in the High FGO Special Batch and not in the Official Tournament Batch. I will still participate in Batch Search Engine Updates.
- Sets 2 and 3 were finished in the Official Tournament Batch. This week will continue with Set 4.
- psychoangel691 will continue determining relevant transfers from the regular batch to the Official Tournament Batch this week.
- One Winged Angel returned from his trip but is having hardware issues with his laptop. Later this week I'll try getting to Reviewer Notes for Set 4 in Phase 1 of the High FGO Special Batch in the meantime. When OWA is able to run a working computer again he can continue with Set 5 Lead Notes, although this is still TBD.

Web Development Team
- Terry is around halfway done on the Task Progress Page.
- blanky! and KillerScythe0 are around 70% done with the Level Number Task for FFR Wiki Tools, and there will be a review of the task on Tuesday (deadline is December 7th at night).
- YoshL still has the individual batch display page.

Updates from last week:

Batch
- Silvuh drafted an ordering for the Phase 2 files in the High FGO Special Batch.
- Silvuh updated the SAP sheet with the September/October 2014 Batch accepted files, and added Conditional Queue columns to show pending SAP.
- Silvuh reviewed several pending conditional queue fixes. Many files are still awaiting fixes sent or a rating appeal from the stepartist.
- Set 6 Notes for the Official Tournament Batch are up. The Batch Search Engine will be updated on Monday with these results.
- FFRMas will start tomorrow.
- Since I'm wrapping up my co-op this week, I won't be active in judging-related activities. I will however focus on making FFRMas a smooth event with frequent communication to psychoangel691.
- One Winged Angel was assigned Sets 5 and 6 for Phase 1 in the High FGO Special Batch.

Web Development Team
- blanky! and KillerScythe0 finished the Level Number functionality for the Wikicode Page on FFR Wiki Tools, although it does not work on a deployment in Cloud9. A different implementation will be needed, and I will look into that.

Updates from last week:

Batch
- FFRMas will continue until the 25th. I'll continue syncing and frame fixing the files this week.
- I've put together an initial plan for setting up JIRA for the GM Team to make our Batch Process smoother. This is still early in the works and is an experimental idea not set in stone.
- With my Full-Time co-op now over, I'll have more time to look into development. FFRMas comes first though, and judging will still be inactive from me this week.
- Set 4 on the Official Tournament Batch has Lead Notes and awaits Reviewer Notes.
- TC_Halogen and psychoangel691 will continue planning 11th Official Tournament Files and judging the Official Tournament Batch.

Web Development Team
- I've found an alternate solution to the FFR Wiki Tools Wikicode page which allows the user to get proper form fields from a level id. However, this still needs to be tweaked as some fields are misplaced in the wikicode output and I need to account for the new notecount field to the levelstats pages upon my request.

Updates from last week:

Batch
- First off, I hope you all enjoyed FFRMas and had an excellent Christmas. FFRMas ended with a release on December 25th.
- I'm working on a site for a pack series I have which involves setting up a Content Management System. This is a development task that will take a little while, probably around a week -- I already have worked 3 days on it. You can see the progress in this thread.
- The staff is still transitioning into JIRA for a new progress tracking software. This week I can also look into configuring proper permissions for the judges to start using it. This does not prevent me from posting Sprint Overviews, it just changes the way that staff can organize information and how judges can log their work.
- Since this is holiday season and people have plans for New Years, judging will most likely be inactive this week. Once it's past New Years, judging should pick up again.
- TC_Halogen and psychoangel691 will continue planning 11th Official Tournament Files and judging the Official Tournament Batch.
- In the To Do sections, you'll notice that there are still many judging tasks on the backlog. These will be revisited after the staff tries out JIRA and determines if it's a suitable use case or not.
- With the FFRMas releases, 12 songs have been released from the accepted queue. On that note the Batch Search Engine is outdated from this, and I'll also need to update that in the next few days as well; I have a heavy focus on the CMS right now.

Web Development Team
- While the current development team's term ends on December 31st, I have plans on transitioning them to using JIRA with proper permissions to aid in the development of a Batch Submission Site.
- As mentioned earlier, I am working with a CMS to build up a pack series site in preparation for also being able to move the Batch Search Engine to a database where users can add and edit their content without involving just me. I have created a document for other staff members to update the Batch Search Engine, but all the recent changes that have been happening are rather intricate transitions that will take time even with planning.

- After around a week and a half of focused development, I finished the Crossover Spectrum Site that I mentioned previously. This week I'm working on setting it up.
- In addition to the site above, I'll be focused on Batch Search Engine development (the move from the cloud9 site over to a CMS). I'll discuss with PrawnSkunk how the new Batch Search Engine Site can be integrated with FFR when development is finished, which should be later this week. Currently I am heavily focused on development right now.
- I've started configuring permissions on JIRA but they're not quite the way I want them to be. My plan is to bring the judgment and staff teams over to JIRA for task/progress tracking, and with updates in this thread and the Sprint Overview thread.
- On the topic of the Sprint Overview Thread, it is a bit outdated and will be updated when I've given an introduction to the judges about JIRA and Confluence.
- Silvuh is on a New Year's Trip until January 5th, and then when he gets back he can start getting into judging-related tasks again.
- The Batch Search Engine was updated to reflect the 12 released songs and new submissions. See this post.
- psychoangel691 had several visitors over from Christmas to New Years; she has been very busy in addition with TC_Halogen. She should be getting back to 11th Official Tournament judging and planning later this week.

Web Development Team
- There won't be any more updates related to the Web Development Team for this thread as their time ended on December 31st, 2015. However, I have plans on showing them a few more development-related tools.

- Before going further, I wanted to say that I hope you all enjoyed the AGDQ Stepmania Showcase!
- For the past three weeks I've been focused on web development and I don't have the time to judge, so I will be moving judging tasks assigned to me over to Unassigned and make plans to transfer them over to different judges.
- Substantial progress was made on the Batch Search Engine site although there is still some migration that needs to be done. I've fixed several bugs and tried to split up user roles to the best of my ability.
- This week I will be taking a Java course from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday-Friday so I will only have around two hours at most a night. The goal is that by Saturday the new Batch Search Engine site will be integrated into FFR, but I can't guarantee that. Development should finish by Wednesday, and then I can work with PrawnSkunk on integrating the site into FFR.
- I've set up JIRA (a progress tracking tool that uses Confluence as a wiki) for the Judgment Team to allow task tracking to be more organized and judgment documents more accessible to them. A training video was also provided.
- According to psychoangel691 the next Official FFR Tournament could potentially start in February. She can provide more details about that in the Official Tournament Special Batch thread if needed.
- Bi-weekly Songs of the Week will be postponed for the time being.

- Sorry for the late update, the past few days have been a bit crazy with the Round 1 weekend and preparing for a new semester.
- Sets 4 and 7 in the Official Tournament Batch have judge reviews finished.
- Phase 1 in the High FGO Batch has all 6 sets of Lead Notes done.
- Development for the new BSE site is done and I'm working with PrawnSkunk to help set it up on FFR. That would most likely continue this weekend as I get situated with the start of a new semester.
- All judging tasks assigned to me have been reassigned. Specifically all my Hard Songs Batch Phase 1 Reviewer Tasks were reassigned to TC_Halogen, and all November 2014 Tasks assigned to me were reassigned to Silvuh (Reviewer Subtasks) and the general lead judge user (Lead Subtasks).
- A PM has been sent to all judges about their availability for the next two months to help in the reassigning process for the judging tasks.
- Bi-weekly Song Releases is still postponed for the time being. It's a higher priority to get the judgment team comfortable with transitioning into a new tracking system and getting the judging tasks assigned properly.
- This week will mostly be planning since my availability is more limited now and communication within the GM and Judgment Teams will be ever more important.

- This week PrawnSkunk and I will need to create a development plan for the new Batch Search Engine site. I've gotten the site components onto FFR, but some more configuration is needed. Progress on this has been a bit slow since we're busy with classes right now.
- Phase 1 in the High FGO Batch have all 6 Sets of Lead Notes finished. TC_Halogen is assigned with Set 4, 5, and 6 for Reviewer Notes.
- Set 4 in November/December 2014 is finished. The reviews should be posted in the next few days, ideally tonight.
- Three judges got back to me about their availability and I put together a post for the November/December 2014 Batch.
- Rearrangements can be made as necessary depending on available judges. For the time being most of the November 2014 Reviewer tasks have been reassigned to Silvuh.

- A lot happened last week, this is going to be a big update.
- Silvuh stepped down from Game Manager and is now Retired Staff. He's been taken off all judging-related tasks, and those have been reassigned to me for the time being (they'll be reassigned to other judges).
- A new public judgement system was established for the Regular Batches. In addition, psychoangel691 arranged an FFR Batch Forum so you may have noticed the different layout of the forums. Currently January/February 2015 is the regular batch in focus on the new system.
- November/December 2014 is still going by the previous Lead/Reviewer Judge system as it was started before the public system was put in place. Set 5 is completed, Set 6 has lead notes, and Set 1 is nearly complete.
- Substantial progress was made on the Official Tournament Batch. Sets 5, 8, 9, and 10 were completed which makes Sets 1-10 in the Official Tournament Batch complete.
- psychoangel691 has been reaching out to previous judges. The primary judges in the FFR Public Judgment System thread will be updated with them as she gets more responses.
- There's some more troubleshooting I need to do regarding the new Batch Search Engine site for it to be on FFR. Worst case I can register a new domain for it, although I want to exhaust all possible ideas first. Sorry this has been taking so long; I've been trying to keep up the old Batch Search Engine Demo site in the meantime, although be warned it has information from 1/1/16 so it is considerably dated right now.
- One Winged Angel has been helping psychoangel691 sort out difficulties with tournament songs.
- Personally I need to resolve some health-related issues in addition to university matter in between so right now I'm not active in GM-related matter, although I'm still making myself available as I can.

- Last week I mostly focused on catching up with academics after falling behind with the implementation of the Public Judgment System. I'm feeling better now.
- gameboy42690 finished Set 1 Reviewer Notes, although he needs to clarify something with the lead judge.
- I finished Set 4 in Phase 1 of the High FGO Special Batch. I'll put off Set 5 and 6 for now to focus on a new plan for the BSE site because integrating it into FFR is going to take much more investigation and in the meantime I may need to set up a new domain until something else is figured out.
- Going to the above point, this week I'm planning on doing some more development for the new BSE site to take into account some of the recent changes (such as removing SAP). Stay tuned for updates regarding this in the Batch Search Engine thread.
- I can't guarantee this week will have the training document for using the new BSE site ready, although I'm aiming to have the development for the site finished by the end of this week. It also depends how my courses go.
- psychoangel691 has determined the following judges to be active for primary judges in the public judgment system: gameboy42690, ilikexd, Gradiant, DarkZtar, bmah, choof, DossarLX ODI, TC_Halogen, psychoangel691.
- The January 2015 Sets have received several reviews from community members. The general guideline is to have at least 5 different users post reviews on the files, and we're getting closer to that stage for two of the sets.
- The staff members have been rather busy in general so I'd recommend looking in the Official Tournament Special Batch and High FGO Special Batch threads for updates regarding the special batches for now. In addition I recommend leaving some comments on the January 2015 Sets if you haven't; primary judges should be assigned to a few of them soon. There are currently 15 sets for the Official Tournament Special Batch, and Sets 1-10 have been completed since last week.

- Set 1 and Set 6 Notes for November/December 2014 are finished and I'm planning on getting those up tonight in the Batch Review Thread in addition to updating the file statuses on the BSE site.
- The new BSE site is up and running. I have yet to make the list of users who have gotten their credentials for logging into the site, although I can work on posting that list soon -- ideally tonight. All the stepartists found from the submitted songs since September 2014 have been sent a PM for their user account.
- One the topic of above, the demo site for the Batch Search Engine is no longer being used. see the Batch Search Engine User Manual thread to see where to access the new BSE site with more up-to-date information. The User Manual should answer most of your questions; any more questions should be posted in the thread.
- File submissions are still done through submitting to the appropriate batch emails, but updates on sending new submissions or fixes should be posted in the Batch Search Engine Updates thread to have the site properly reflect the status of the file submissions.
- psychoangel691 is planning on having more Official Tournament Batch notes up in the next few days; the site downtime prevented her from being able to do so and she has a lot going on so I ask to be patient.

- If you haven't already read it, please read the Important Batch Updates front page post.
- The results for January/February 2015 Set 1 are posted. January/February 2015 Set 2 is still awaiting a Primary Judge -- it has enough user reviews.
- November/December 2014 Set 7 is finished, which leaves Sets 2, 3, and 8 in that Batch. DarkZtar is the Lead Judge for Set 8, and Lead Notes for Set 2 have been done for a while by ilikexd (it just needs a Veteran Judge for the Reviewer Task).
- The Lead/Veteran Judgment System Document is replaced by the FFR Special Judgment System thread. This is important as it provides a clear distinction between the Regular Batches and Special Batches.
- The current Batches going by the Special Judgment System are the High FGO Special Batch, Official Tournament Batch, and November/December 2014. November/December 2014 is going by the Special Judgment System to prevent logistical issues; January/February 2015 and after are the Public Judgment System.
- Remember to create a Song on the Batch Search Engine site after submitting through email. The second post shows the submissions that users need to create a Song for.
- While this does not directly affect users, the two spoilers below are an archive of the steps taken to put up the new Batch Search Engine site. Today on February 21st I cancelled the FFR subscription to Atlassian as it was too complicated and heavy for the needs of our staff -- it was worth a try.

- November/December 2014 Set 2 is finished, which leaves Set 3 and Set 8 remaining for that Batch and then it's done; they still need Lead Judge Reviews.
- The four files with Pending Fixes in September/October 2014 were reviewed. There are some other files that have updates but aren't updated on the BSE yet, that's going to wait for a few days as I plan out how this week will work out.
- There have been several Songs added on the BSE by users, although remember to mention new submissions in the Batch Search Engine Updates thread; the Song won't appear on the site unless it gets approved, and posting in the thread helps with that process.
- We currently have 57 Accepted Songs, with a reasonable number of them not planned for use in the next Official Tournament. Bi-Weekly Songs of the Week will resume this week on March 1st, Tuesday 10 PM EST.
- The files judged and total songs in the November/December 2014 Batch and Official Tournament Batch were adjusted to be more accurate, and six more files were added to the Official Tournament Batch for a total of 79 files.
- Later this week I can look into some more of the Conditionally Queue'd files that have Pending Fixes. I'm mainly focusing on Reviewer Tasks and there hasn't been much momentum with the Pending Fixes and I want to get those files resolved; there were also some more file updates sent to the ffrsubmissions email that haven't been factored into the BSE site yet.
- psychoangel691 should be posting the reviews for two other sets in the Official Tournament Batch this week. The post for Sets 11-15 in terms of their ordering can be found in this post.

- The November/December 2014 Batch was finished last week with the completion of Sets 3 and 8.
- gameboy42690 provided primary judge reviews for Set 4 in January 2015.
- The suggested number of user reviews for a public set was reduced from 5 to 3. This still provides a good enough sample for the primary judge, and the other sets in January/February 2015 require primary judges now that they have at least 3 user reviews each; I've contacted the primary judges about their availability and I'm awaiting some more responses about who can do which sets.
- Bi-Weekly Songs of the Week continued last week on Tuesday, with two songs to be released on Tuesday 10 PM EST every two weeks.
- With Spring Break coming around this weekend I'm planning on closing out Hard Songs Batch Phase 1 which has two more sets that have lead notes.
