Is it really that big of a deal since the censor doesn't affect live streams? If anything they protecting themselves (and by extension their users) from a fatty lawsuit.

In my opinion, naw, not at all.

Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You could even say it glows

I made a hitbox just on the off chance. I think everyone's flipping out over something that SHOULD be in place. However, I think it needs a lot of fine tuning still.
I got my username because it's random as fuck and the only site I've seen it taken on is Osu actually.

Holy shit Staiain, nice! I'm surprised they were so responsive. I'm honestly not that butthurt about twitch and I agree that most people are overreacting. That being said, I went to hitbox without much expectation for it to be any better than it was a few months ago, and in those short few months hitbox has improved leaps and bounds. Their staff is interactive and supportive. I seriously think Hitbox has a lot of potential to grow, and their new partnership program is proof of that.
I'm also really impressed with the layout, and chat features that are sure to grow even more in the future.
But what really seals the cake? NO ARTIFICIAL DELAY ON STREAMS. Delay between chat and stream is literally 3-5 seconds, and I had forgotten how awesome that interaction with your streamers felt. Twitch doesn't even care about that delay and it is widely considered to be one of the biggest problems with Twitch. I'm super excited to be able to interact with chat in a matter of seconds rather than minutes :)
I would seriously recommend trying a full stream on it just to see what kind of viewership you get. There's a great opportunity for people willing to stick with Hitbox right now, and the speedrunners that tried it out today didn't really see any impact on viewership. AdamAK was rocking 1500-2000 for a while today, and Mofat was around 400 for about 8 hours straight, I think thats good proof right now because those numbers are good for both of those streamers.
That's pretty neat. Maybe I'll ask my brother if I can attempt an FFR stream on it tomorrow via his computer. That'd be pretty sweet. Especially when we do extralife this year.
Go live for a minute on Twitch with a title saying you're streaming on hitbox or something (can you do this? is hitbox flagged in titles? it might be), I bet you'd be surprised. You never know til you try :)
