March on the capital. That's hardly formal. Stand up to a tank in Tieneman Square. That just reeks of "Office Space" formality.

Do something to challange authority that isn't sit in your basement and smoke weed while plotting to move away, because that doesn't really ring any bells of derringdo.

It would help your point if I didn't constantly challenge authority in an obvious fashion essentially every day.
And one random teenager doing the Tien'anmem Square thing would be the most ridiculously pointless political statement in the history of mankind.

Not to mention that my entire point is that it's in my best personal interest to simply leave. The idea that I want to make the most out of my own life isn't laziness. It would be dumb to waste my life, and if you think that wasting your life isn't dumb, you don't deserve your humanity.

You're an artist too, Mal. You wouldn't give that up for something that can be entirely avoided.

I was a passive supporter of the immigration bills before I saw this. Now, I'm enraged and firmly support them. The bills were created to make life better for all Americans, including the immigrants already here, whether legal or illegal. It protects us and our citizens. And they protest fairness and progressive action through insult? Anybody as angry as I am?

I highly doubt you guys know nearly enough about what life in other countries are like enough to make that kind of stupid statement like "I'm moving as soon as I have the chance." Where are you going to go? Canada? It has its problems. Britian? It has its problems. Amsterdam? Hope you can speak Dutch.

FoJaR, you need to justify your statement as to how the bill is regressive. I only see it as helpful to both Americans and Mexican immigrants. It helps and protects both sides, really. It allows the Mexicans to be better assimilated into American society, while it allows Americans the protection, security, and safety they expect. Hardly regressive.
