If people want to go SEARCH for it, that's their problem -- in your case, it's not presented in front of them -- they have a direct image that shows the content a user intended on posting and now they're trying to modify it to see something else: just like how it's not a bannable offense on this site for any single user in this thread to randomly google search pornographic sites to watch whatever they want, it's not exactly within our constraints to be like "OH YOU CAN CLICK THREE LINKS AWAY FROM A PROVIDED IMAGE TO GET TO PORN, PERMABAN" -- it's just a matter of policing anything that can be immediately seen.

As someone who has been in the professional male porn industry for the last 4 years, I can agree that no porn should be posted on a site such as this. It has no reason to be here. Besides, I have shown this website to 13 year olds who love it. I rather not have them exposed to crude material on this website.

Well this sure thread sure exploded. My stance on this is that if the link has a nsfw label somewhere then I don't care. I'd like to not ever run into problems while browsing at work. I already turn off avatars for this reason.

I wouldn't care about a whole page of porn links if they were labeled accordingly.

It comes down to certain users trying to utilize loopholes in the rules so that they can post 18+ content in areas of the site where rules are not strictly followed. In reality, that section of the site is completely useless and tends to harbor those who have little to no interest in the game as a whole, in addition to being an area that generally fosters trolling/flaming/low-quality content/(etc).

my response isn't pertinent to the topic here, but isn't this a pretty big generalization? low-quality is arguable. a decent number of people who post in the garbage bin aren't active players, but that goes for other major forums on this site as well. there's also value in having a private forum (aside from the dead Veteran forum). kinda nice to be able to post phone numbers without the post being a Google search away.

if TGB is useless, then so is basically everything outside of the Flash Flash Revolution Game/Site Related Forums area.

This isn't even an argument of opinion; it's literally the law that a site that welcomes people <18 can't allow immediate access/viewing of pornography to them. You want to post porn? Fine, if you find it so absolutely necessary to do so, do it somewhere else.

Porn should most definitely not be posted within this website unless the website itself is geared towards things of adult nature. Can't just scratch that because of one specific subforum.
