ok now that I sat out a ban for over a year for posting a link to a generic porn stream site which was meant to contextualize my subject header for a thread in tgb id like to understand the following:

this isn't 10 yrs ago where porn of quality was slightly more challenging to find and full blown videos weren't a thing unless u upped ur p2p game

most ppl on this site are of age and the ones that aren't can just google pornhub or something anyway

porn can add humor because sometimes it's pretty fuckin funny

I recognize direct linking images and spamming them prolly isn't a good thing so clearly there are boundaries ok sure

can we really change this rule cuz iirc archowl got renamed for the same thing I did pretty much and it's just like an 'are u really serious' kind of ban

edit I'd also like to add I've been told I was banned for spamming pictures and I've denied that since the beginning of time cuz I was already banned when that happened sooo yea anyway thread isn't about that but just incase it's cited

It's just a part of the rules, nothing we can do to argue it. Arch got banned for six months for posting a funny porn video in TGB with full NSFW warnings.

Admins probably aren't going to budge just because porn is easy to find.

Slight changes to rules have been made for NSFW content in TGB, you still cant post porn. Blatant NSFW how arch did it was still not good enough, as it's still blatant access to porn on a site children and young teens may be on. You should check in tgb the revised rules by devonin and do your damnest to understand them and not ask dumb questions. It's very straight forward and even a tad more lenient now. DONT POST PORN.

Being that the age allowed on this site is 13+, users like myself would like to be able to browse without directly seeing NSFW content on my screen if I'm in a public area.

I surely would not want a direct link to a pornographic image if I'm in a public setting.

i personally have tons of issues with how the administration bans people, but to see someone like cetaka get banned for supposedly posting a nude picture/vid/whatever is bullshit. 13+ teenagers probably masturbate to anything they find attractive, so to say that we're not allowed to post nsfw in an area that people generally don't give a fuck is beyond me. for the record tsutter should be unbanned...7+ years of that is cruel and dumb.

That doesn't make it OKAY, the -LEGAL- age in most areas for porn is 18, in some states 19 or 21 I hear as well, that means ITS NOT OUR BUSINEsS what people below that age do, but we cannot ILLEGALLY provide them with porn. Anyway I think the points have been made and I am gonna look to get this le closed now.

Direct means it appears when the page loads instead of being inside a spoiler. In other words, nothing is hiding the preview of it.

FFR doesn't need to deal with legal issues surrounding 18+ content. If you want to post NSFW content you should do it somewhere else.
