Maple Stars are not infinite. Check your sources before accusing me of such a thing.

And yes, I know I sold for quite a bit less, but I had them up for 30 mil for a while and no one bought, so I decided to ensure money by dropping it. I knew I was quite a bit under the true value of it, but I wanted to sell them fast. The way I see it, I made 20 mil without any meso investment at all. That's 20 mil pure profit and I am entirely satisfied with it.

Oh and by the way, Basil is not accurate representation of the market. And yes, I know FM is not accurate either, but I figure that when I see multiple people trying to sell stars for 30 mil and failing that the price is dropping and they aren't keeping up with it.

Actually, in hindsight, the person who bought probably would have bought for as high as 25 or so, but that doesn't really matter. I got a 2 short of perfect current endgame weapon and that is ****ing awesome.

Erm, dude, even with your double crit, when I am level 61, I will hit more in one shot than you hit in both shots(and also have more stable damage). Not to mention with teleport.

What do you like about archers? I mean they'll get really awesome in about 9 levels, but still.

And with what kind of mage do u plan to do over 4.2 k with?

And if youre talking funded hunters. My lv 46 hunter can hit up to 3.1k max

I doubt a fire mage lv 61 will outdamage a 61 hunter, period.

Archers suck in 2nd job. Period. Really, they do. Once you get to around 85, THAT'S when they start getting good. Once your rain gets a bit more stable, you start getting used to puppet, and you have strafe maxed, you can finally kill things efficiently and without any danger. Add in hawk and then you're set to go =]

Seriously though, I find hawk extremely fun. No idea why, it's just amusing to me. Puppet is really fun too; I recommend getting it very early on in 7x because you need to start getting used to using it a lot =]

And I'm probably never going to play this game again so if my advice is dated, that's why.

Oh and PS: Strafe is even more unreliable when it comes to crits =( KB sucks with strafe too. But the damage is pretty insane so it's all good.

I'm level 55 gaining over 100 damage per level and I can hit over 3,600-3,800 max :/ I think it's very fair to say that I will have 4,200 by then.

Also, I haven't scrolled by cape or overall yet. Cape will give me a bonus of 6-8~ int and overall will give me a bonus of a lot, and we haven't even gotten to scrolling earrings with 60%'s yet.

They were in SEA. They were modified in GMS to only have 800, though(HS.net JUST updated this today). So they're pretty much Kumbis but they come in bunches of 800 instead of 500.

A lukless fizard will have nearly as high max damage as you (or even higher if they have really good gear), but they'll also have MUCH higher min damage.

In short, they'll get out more damage per second than you. On top of that, they can teleport and shoot in close range-- two things that hold archers down being their lack of mobility and their inability to deal damage in close range.

Archers SUCK in 2nd job. Only thing that keeps them from being impossible to train is mob skills, which aren't that great if you can't control mobs. 3rd job archers are much better. We never have completely stable damage, compared to other classes, but we are the best at manipulating monsters to our will and sniping. Archers are nowhere near the strongest, fastest, or the most stable. We are in the middle and have skills to back it all up.

4th job is a different story =]

Yay ... I got a Scorpio and a Soul Searcher from training for a few hours today ... I really want a lvl 70 Maple hat though ... anyone lucky enough to get one of those?

I've seen so many videos of people kicking *ss with Genesis that I'm going to be majorly disappointed if they mess with it.

You can't compare a lukless fire wizard to a normal hunter, due to the fact that a strless hunter (especially after lv 65) at would destroy a lukless fire mage in damage. Also, Fire wizards HAVE to train in El Fire whereas archers are more versatile in training spots. Fire Arrow is a slower skill than double shot with booster by far, with far less range. A hunter who mastered jump arrow bombing can take out mobs far faster than a fire mage.

Jump shooting and Arrow Bomb's stun also allows a hunter to avoid swinging their bow most of the time.
