I also can't get the ****ing Mysterious Cave to spawn for the life of me. Had it come up once, but no Liquid Rainbow chest. I've tried 33 times now and it only spawned once. ****ing hell.

Eh, the thing about amulets are that they're DPS boosters, not defense boosters. 40% MF is insane, but I don't know if MF and defense is enough to sell an amulet. The thing about MF gear is balancing high enough MF with high enough DPS so you don't get killed.

Also, buyouts are not a good way to pricecheck. Also, bids are most likely what the user put as the minimum bid. If you want to check if the bid is actually a bid, click bid yourself. If the two numbers show up are the same, it's not a real bid, but rather the minimum bid specified. If the number in the box is higher, then that means it's actually someone's bid.

Finally got it! Switched from normal mode to nightmare and he showed up three times in a row, the third being when the chest spawned also.
Now to just get enough gold to upgrade the dang staff :P

I still couldn't get the plan for the normal staff. I farmed that boss for 2 hours without getting it. In the mean time, I was doing the runs with a friend to pass time, he got 6 of them.

Besides it (already) being able to clear a room, with the Transcendence passive I don't lose life.
Monks are so ****ing op it's not even funny. My friends who have been playing since launch shit their pants when I carried them through Inferno a1 and they kept dropping to any rare mob that walked along (they are wiz and barb).

Out of joke, I tried casting Serenity and TPing.
Didn't work :P

I don't like to be a party ruiner, but have you tred that build in act 2 yet? Act 1 is pretty easy and anything really will work.

Not really, I've been farming a1 for gold and generally just slacking from progression. From what everyone says I know that a1 is a joke, but being able to blind-knockback-serenity gives me so much cc/invuln that I don't have too many problems taking anything out.

Except fire chains.

Right, but in Act 2, being about to do that set of CC isn't enough. Act 3 is a brick wall for the record until you get better gear. Also, LoH will trump life regen any day especially if you're using Fists of Thunder (I used it with Thunderclap). Not only will each hit proc LoH, but the third strike that hits multiple enemies will proc LoH for each enemy it hits.

You can pick up a decent dagger with 600-700 DPS and 300-500 LoH for about a mil which will help out greatly. On my Monk, because of the LoH, I can stand in a1 fire chains and attack and not die. If you read a couple pages back, I bought gear for my DH which let me solo a2 for less than 400k. It's pretty easy to find decent gear for cheap on the AH. Just plug in the stats you want and sort by buyout. You'll be amazed at what you can find for cheap.

The problem with finding stuff on the AH is that I still really don't have the gold to buy anything, and I've sat browsing over looking for things that are cheap as shit. Also my gear now is pretty alright so the things that are cheap still arn't very big upgrades for the price.
