I still play since i can't get past act 2. or rather i stopped trying. i started trying out new wizard builds (which i havent used to try to advance through act2 yet)...with all buffs i have 12% mov speed, 29k hp, 60% reduction of dmg by armor, 33.9k dps, attack speed of 1.44, 27k health globe bonus with radius of 14, regen of 500+/sec, and over 10%crit chance with 92% crit dmg. How the **** am I not surviving...

You're a Wizard, Harry. You're going to get 1 shot. You need to learn to kite more effectively to dodge attacks. Also, you didn't list your resists which leads me to believe you need more. Armor isn't everything.

Yeah ive been looking at some builds. So far the best builds have been critical mass builds using the explosion with chain reaction rune, frost nova with reduced cooldown and diamond skin with double armor, and then energy armor, with mouse attacks as wicked wind that sits in place and crits like a mofo and teleport with wormhole, which resets diamond skin and other cooldowns pretty much instantly as long as wicked wind is hitting a foe. My biggest problems when trying to use this are that I dont have enough damage and I dont have nearly enough resistances or arcane regen, which is what im looking at building up. Gonna take a long time to get what i want...i have over 20% chance for crits now though.

20% crit is still pretty low. I have no clue what a Wizard is supposed to build, but you can pick up gear for pretty cheap to help you survive. Check the SS I posted on the previous page; all the gear was bought for a total of >400k. I picked up some gear with some all resist, and now have a lowest resist of 310 and I still haven't spent a mil on DH gear (except for the new weapon I just bought for 2 mil, but the rest of the gear was less than a mil).

If you want to survive as a glass cannon-y wizard, use Force Armor.

If you want to use one of the crit/LoH "melee wizard" builds, good luck. Finding a good wand for one of those builds is a nightmare lol (it HAS to be a wand, with LoH and AP on crit on it. And it needs to also have crit damage or a socket if you want to actually do DPS, not to mention the wand's intrinsic DPS needs to not be shit... pretty hard to come across and usually 100s of millions of you see one on the AH)
You can get a 9-10% crit shield for really cheap though and that's good, because that's also a cornerstone of the melee wiz build.

You've just summed up a good chunk of RPGs, my friend.

After beating Inferno, there's actually not much to it. I do have a mission though to farm up and eventually get enough gold to cash out and cover the cost of the game. It also is kinda stress-relieve-y for me to just farm with friends while chatting.
