search for other stuff that has equal values to the 3 most valuable stats on your piece

then undercut the cheapest one

works 99% of the time basically, as long as you know what stats are valuable it will ensure a high turnover and good returns

I'll type out the stuff. It's not going to be worth what you define as much, but for me, I've never seen 1mil in my inventory at one time.

I'm in hell, I've had Caverns of Frost 2 times, this being my second (first time was in nightmare), and I already got the stone. Kinda funny, since i heard this was the hardest thing to get drop percent wise.

Funnier even was I wasn't going for this. I was midway into destroying Azmodan's shiz and my brother got on the xbox, which made me lag a lot, which was unusual, and he couldn't connect to xbl. I had reset the router recently, and I had my xbox on manual IP, so i figured (and was right) that my IP was being shared with my xbox, so i fixed it, went back into diablo 3 and redid the battlefield part again, and got this. If it wasn't for my brother, I wouldn't have gotten this tonight.

tl;dr xbox had same ip as pc and i quit midway into battlefields to fix and got frost caverns for second time and got this gem lol

@Kibblre: basically do what hi19 says; i'll put out some personal opinions on them

- Pants have good all res, decent vit. If it's only 1 socket it lacks primary stat though. You can still probably get a pretty good price for it. (search allres/vit/socket)

- Bow is okay, nothing special. Socket helps, dex is a nice add. (search dex/socket/xx)

- Dagger could be okay for offhand weapon since dps isn't very high. (search ias/socket/xx)

- The 1H xbow seems quite good to me. The DPS is pretty for 1H, and you have the socket. I'd probably chuck an emerald (just a square or flawless square, doesn't have to be high) in it before you sell because people love crit damage these days. If you're wondering if people only buy value bows with dex, you'd be wrong; the damage is more important and more often than not people are willing to overlook the stat gains(search socket/vit if you want/xx)

- Kinda mediocre vit and severely lacking in primary stat but resist is okay. I don't know what you mean by 1.48 life per second ? (search vit/allres/fireres)

- Pretty high STR roll and coupled with socket, that's about it really. (search str/xx/xx)

Hmm. Best thing here are the pants, it's a shame you didn't roll any main attribute on them but maybe a tank would buy them, probably a cold monk if anyone. The dagger isn't very good at all (low DPS, usually want to roll upwards of 780 on them to make a profit). The crossbow DPS is alright but sadly the stats aren't, you might be able to sell it if you put an emerald in it for crit damage though (talking at least perfect square or up). The ring isn't very good. The chest would be decent with sockets. Well, that's all I have to say.

No no I know exactly what the gem was for. That's why I was posting the image of it and how it only took me two tries. The whole "so, this is rare?" was sarcasm :P

Just checked right now. The chest sold for 200k. The rest are still up. I wish I could see what item it was that sold, because I sold another find for 212k...I think it was a 2H mace. I have more stuff, but I'm just not gonna bother you guys with it. I know what items are really good to look for; it's the mixup of stats that I don't know how to sell.

Actually, can anyone check this out for me? This might be one of my best finds so far. I checked an amulet on AH with 9 damage/50 poison/60 all at a current bid of 15mil. Would the extra damage make up for the lesser resists?

To find out what item you sold on the Auction House just shift+click the gold in your stash like you would link an item to someone and the item will appear in the chat and you can scroll over and see what it was.

As for the amulet, it seems alright for a a poison monk but what is really hurting it is the fact that there is nothing related to crit on it be it crit damage or crit chance. Not sure how much it would go for, the perfect attack speed is nice but other than that I don't know what it would go for. Usually damage added on an amulet with XX-XX values are worth more than the Maximum or Minimum damage single affix ones. I personally don't think the amulet is really that valuable but if you price check it and it seems good, undercut the top seller and sell it.

That's not really a good amulet. Unless you are looking for PERFECT gear (which that is not), people don't go for resistances on jewelry or gloves because the majority of your attack stats and life on hit and stuff will come from those pieces (as well as weapon ofc)
Also that has no primary stat or vit which is kinda shitty

Perfect IAS is nice but it's by far the weakest out of IAS/crit/critdmg

You could maybe sell it but you're not getting multiple millions for it lmao
I'd be surprised if you even got 300k, feel free to prove me wrong.

The problem I get is that when I look for the items on the AH I never find one close enough to mine to be able to determine a price. For instance, I just found an amulet with str/vit/fire res/MF that could go cheap to a budget Barb's MF set but I can't find one close enough. For instance, when I find one with similar str/vit, the MF on the other one is 3% higher. If I find one that matches the MF, the str/vit or str/res is higher. I can't win.

what class are you?
every class has a way to cheese that fight, usually a dumb LoH build, or a zombie bears burst build for WD

don't feel bad, it's the hardest fight in the game by far.
(this game should be named Ghom 3 instead of Diablo 3 because Diablo is a ****ing pushover in comparison lol)
