i dont care if u submit it as long as you delete it from the db and your thread
just forewarning you though it has very little chance of acceptance for obvious reasons and if you don't know them you probably shouldn't be submitting to this pack

will attempt to go on a judging spree today..burned my right index finger so typing/playing sm is a bit of a pain atm

Re: FFR Community Pack II (new thread)

At Dawn: useless song, boring file, some melody freeze misuse

Sandopolis: super boring song/file, wtf is with hands and quads and mines everywhere this song is Just Not That INtense and adding these does not make it any more interesting

The frenzy wilds: seems filled with technical errors and just overall not very well stepped lol. the most entertaining part is a 160 bpm offbeat jumpstream with questionable accuracy v.v

the dream of scarlet: some basic rhythmic/layering errors, overall generic file to very generic song. you'd have to really step a gem out of this to get a file for it in imo so good luck lol

Xenon: ugh what possessed you to step this haha. find some more interesting music at the very least. basically a huge 158 bpm jumpstream. mindnumbing and i can play literally any one of hundreds of exceedingly similar files to get the same experience

Cosmic Dust: chill song, chill file. polyrhythms are annoying timing-wise for this sort of difficulty but they fit ok. felt freezes in beginning did not reflect the sounds they were going to that well because of length/pitch-bend or whatever, maybe play around with the lengths of them or mines or something. also ending drags on like forever with the jacks but ok overall quite playable

Mnemoniq: feels overstepped maybe but i like this a lot and the pack needs a ure swing: file probably

Chrome Gadget: damn. usually i hate these songs and the files they make but this is done quite nicely. good jack placement and dual freezes lol (ima sucker i know). m23-24 feels weird with all the jumps when the music is quieter and all on the right side, do something to separate this from the rest of the flow of the chart you know what i'm sayin

Every Time I Die: had to quit out of this one sorry : (
seems like you have basic layering concepts down, but the chart ended up waaaay too easy and boring for the intensity of the music (you're stepping metal, jacks etc are allowed lol especially at 100 bpm). has some icky sync issues with rainbow notes as well. as long as you are stepping drums, try to make the arrows reflective of what drums are being played, snares feel better on the right, bass drums on the left. as they are now it feels super arbitrary and the stream patterns don't seem like they are too relevant with the music

circumventin da process and just acceptin these and **** lol. kommi and any other mysterious judges can speak up obviously i just want to keep this moving

Whaaaat? I must have forgotten to attach the file, even though I swore I attached it beforehand...oh well, resending I guess. I hope it'll be judged quickly, since I've waited about a week for judging.

                        It's sent by the way.

Yeah it was too easy. I realized that and tried to layer as much as possible.

Did you read the file inside?

Also regarding those colored notes: are you saying I should have simplified them and just kept them 32nds or you mean they're slightly off? Cuz I played it at .3x with the assist tick and if it's off it's gotta be by just like a ****ing microsecond.

I've played GLoVE's Dance of Eternity file at .3x and found things father off.

Maybe you just mean the pattern?

*edit* Also I'm not too good at recognizing different types of drums. Would somebody link me to some vids demonstrating the differences between snare and bass?

the color notes are off a lot of the time lol. and glove's dance of eternity is an offbeat dump take a look through JX's the least one hundred seconds or Glove's in the presence of enemies for some ver accurate rainbow usage. the very best advice i can give you for color guitars is to listen to the segment you're stepping on 1.0x to know about how many notes u should have, set to ~.4-.5, place notes, check again at 1.0x to make sure it feels ok (music is typically distorted at low rates so low-speed stepping is actually in a way often less accurate).

                            m18, missed guitar note
m31, beat 2, shift green note down to 48th
m31, beat 2.5 lol, shift yellow note up to 64th
m39 should look something more like this, done on .7 lol

and i think the bpm/gap may just be off because the 16ths leading into that don't land quite on 16ths either.

don't feel like looking further :3

Great. I thought that's how it worked.

Things always get messed up when you slow 'em way down (unless they're drums). I'll check those places you mentioned. And I appreciate you taking the time too.

No chance of changing those parts and it getting accepted huh? Still too easy I assume.

Oh and I mentioned GLoVE's DoE file just cuz people have always talked about it a lot and I've always noticed those errors. Trill at the end seems way off too IMO.
