Black/White 2: I just figured out in the past hour or so that you can look on the back of your trainer card, scroll down and see how many wild pokemon battles you have had on your game

Am I able to friend people without having to make that "infrared" connection? (Implying I'd have to physically be close to them to exchange friend codes) Or at least can I play online with people globally via entralink without them being my friend?

You don't need infrared connection to add someone to your friend list. All you need is your friend code which can be found on your Pal Pad in your Bag. If you post your code here I can add you, and you can also add my friend code as well, which I've posted a few pages back.

Everyone who is fairly active friend me, I'm just starting to play a lot/will be quite active too. Btw I only have like 2k wild pokemon battles over my career in all the pokemon games I have played and I thought I had like 11k. I was like "when am I going to catch my second shiny damn". I was put in my place. All the story/trainer battles I guess really have soaked up some time.

What is infrared connection for?
