I'd like to point out how little actual ideas have been posted about how to better the community. All it's really been has been complaints/statements about how the community is right now, and a few people just saying "everyone just stop being dicks" or "there's no hope, stop trying".

There's no way something effective will happen overnight. Trying to fix this through a huge overhaul all at once will not fix this community. We need to take things into our own hands and fix things step by step. This means no super big overhauls like "everyone needs to stop being a dickwad now", When I said post ideas, I meant small specific ideas, like events or other things like that (not necessarily competitive events), to slowly bring us back to a happier state of mind. Also try to come up with ways to get our site back out into the world to attract/reattract members.

It's a personality problem, not a new feature or something that the admins can implement that'll magically fix everything.

And because it's a personality problem, this will most likely continue to persist because a shitton of people on FFR lack the introspective skills required in order to better themselves.

Really though Yo Man is right, and so is OWA. What we need is some hope for a community that probably wont change. But nothing was done by saying we CAN'T, it was done by saying we CAN. If no one is going to try to pick themselves up for the betterment of the forums, it's going to stay this way. Does anyone honestly want it to stay this way?

What? What are you trying to say? Do you think that events and the such are going to stop anybody from being an ass? That's ridiculous. You are one misguided individual. It's the mindset of the individual members of the community that's the "problem".

There are many crybabies EVERYWHERE, as there are TROLLS everywhere. It's posts like this that aren't contributing to anything. If you guys want to be ****ing hardass idiots who pick on each other, stay in TGB. Keep TGB worthy posts in TGB. If anyone is making a big deal about it, it's you guys who can't just keep your shit in your respective places.

There are rules to follow, and those rules were placed for the sake of making the community more friendly and bearable. Sure they don't have to be followed. When they don't, we just are more aware of how much of an ass the person can be.

The community is a problem. We're losing members over it. If you guys want it to stay this way, fine, keep losing members, and then sit back and reflect on how good it used to be, as opposed to how good it's gotten.
