I sent in Blue Betrayal earlier today. Might that be included in tomorrow's update? Just curious.

I just sent in 8 files, and I have at least 3 more almost ready. Hopefully they're good enough.

            TL;DR

like holy crap, how long did that take you, and what on earth possessed you to write an essay on file creativity? sheesh.

ps I skimmed, it's essentially more drivel that ignores the basic fact that the judges don't care about the feelings and desires of the judged while making judgments, and that the only thing that matters in any way shape or form is the reactions of the players

pps that's all nice, now let's see an example of when we've ever discouraged creativity in files, because my skimming didn't procure such an example

I've read every one of your posts thus far, but this one...
I'm not even going to bother.

              Here's two hints:
Type no more than ten lines a reply. (and don't double post, either)
Try using words less than 10 syllables long. It doesn't make you sound any smarter, rather, it makes you sound like you have a thesaurus and way too much time. Also comes off as condescending, which I'm sure is the goal anyway.

V4N, what it comes down to is this.

Writing simfiles is (In my eyes, anyway) an art form. It takes creativity, yes. However it, like any art, is incredibly subjective (As everyone has pointed out already.~) and some people simply won't like it. Take this from a person who's written several keyboard charts and enough pad charts for r21 to release his own DDR mix. Even if it looks good to you, sometimes things simply won't work out the way you expect them to.

My advice is to keep at it, get multiple opinions on what you're charting, and above all keep a level head about it. Chances are if you keep this attitude that you possess infallible logic and/or ideas, you'll never appreciate the criticisms that come with art forms and you'll improve more slowly than you'd like.

Well, my steps are now at measure 6. XD

I only had 10 minutes to work on it last night. After I do my Health Project, finish off my English Paper, and do my Spanish flashcards, I'll work on it some more.

                  *Prays that my stepfile is in the batch reviewed.* I don't wanna wait another week. ;_;

Working on lolEND now. IMO some of the 24ths fit; would you like me to discard the ones that don't?
Legendary Etude: Fixing the jumps. Were the 16th patterns too repetitive, and some of the faster notes fit.

More detail, please? Help me improve to help this game.

k I thought they are ok since they go with the music (jumps = vocal, streams = marimba), plus the difficulty of that songs is basically set for 5.5, and NO 4-or even 5-frame jacks in those jumpstreams.
Not acceptable for you since it's just because 192BPM I guess. (it would be acceptable if it was 140BPM, like Frozen)

so question, in those section which one is considered not to be overstepped?
                            (1) jumpstreams (8 streams : 1 jump)
                            (2) jumpstreams (16 streams : 1 jump)
                            (3) less jumpstreams (4 streams : 1 jump) combined with 8 or 16 or no jumpstreams
                            (4) no jumpstreams there
