Hm. Honestly it's getting hard to figure out what you guys are talking about with certain rejected files. Dokudenpa specifically. "Part between two streams is understepped". My file didn't have any prominent streams and the only sections I could find with "streams" were just a measure's worth of 16th notes following a drum roll, and there are several of those throughout the song.

That and you saying the jumps in the beginning should be on the 8th notes is wrong. They're stepped to the drum hits, which all land on 4ths. I have no idea what else they could be stepped to that fall on 8ths.

I'll see what I can fix up but I genuinely can't figure out what section you're saying is understepped.

In the beginning the loudest part is the bass, which falls on the 8th.

I've stepped it that way, in my version.

Ossa... it would appear that I didn't download it. my apologies. it'll be in this batch. must have gotten confused between yours and Valtrix's, as they have identical headers to the dwi.

Also, if you think three Melonman's OP's are crazy, consider this:
1. There are two Cold Breath files that were rejected, one understepped, one overstepped.
2. I made one and submitted it.
3. Rebirth made one and submitted it on the same day as mine IIRC.

So there are FOUR Cold Breath, two of which have yet to be judged.

edit: haha mine's gonna be rejected for inconsistent difficulty

Melonman's OP - 16th jumpstream doesn't really fit the song, and FFR. The 8th jumps are a little much as well. I can somewhat see what they go to but this is FFR, the files need to be different than those made for SM. I'm also questioning some of the 16th streams that end in a 24th stream. I'm not sure of those are right or not, but I didn't look into it to see

Delta Beat (Standard) - The song is overstepped. Maybe even stepped more than necessary for an SM simfile. The double gallop things would be alright if the 4 note 16th double thing were something like 3 single arrows then a jump at the end. I also noticed at aroud measure 70, that you have the 8th stream with jumps in it. I think that part shouldn't have any jumps in it, and shouldn't be a big 8th stream.

Growth - It was repetitive. I didn't see jumps where I thought there should be, and jumps where there didn't need to be any. I didn't even hear the 16th triplets you put in there either. I just don't think this song should be stepped

Absence of Light - Also something that shouldn't really be stepped, the song doesn't support any kind of stepchart. So with that in mind, I can't really give a great review of the steps. The steps weren't very good from what I saw

holy **** the reviews are longer than I expected them to be, but big deal. It helps the simfile artist.

Damn Tass, I had no problem at all giving longer reviews for the simfiles. I wouldn't have a problem with doing it for 50 - 80 sims either, seeing as how you have a week to do it.
